Okay, so, I want YOUR favourite plain wrapper, stock four door sedans. The rules:
- NO wings. These have to be clean three box sedan shapes
- Stock spec models. No after-market/hot models (e.g. HSV, AMG, M cars, etc)

Telstar sedan (around 1995) - Ford's wrapper of the 626 sedan, but (sorry Mazkid) they got the detailing much better. Very pretty mid-sized sedan.

Current Holden Caprice/Statesman - the extra length of the Statesman addresses the problems of the 'squat' look of the VT Commodore, and it's one of the best looking large sedans in the world.

Peugeot 406 (before the facelift) - great clean shape, with very professional detailing - they stuffed it with the facelift, with that ridiculous huge badge dominating the front

Current Mercedes S-Class sedan - very clean, and I really like the new 'keyhole' headlights.

1992 Mazda 929 - yeah, it's a Jaguar rip-off, but I really liked this car.

1998 Holden Vectra JR sedan - well, I had one of these, and I liked the styling, especially in silver. The Holden badge is much better looking than that hideous Vauxhall badge.

Cheese-and-rice, Powerman, maybe you are as out of touch as they say you are. May I refer you to the FIRST POST:

Here's my first top-of-the-head vote:

Here's my list:
Mazda Atenza 23E(it's Japan's top model, they don't get the V6)

1991 Famila Sedan

1992 Eunos 500

1992 Anfini MS-8

I got lazy so here's a list of the other ones I like:
'88-92 626 GT
'82 Nissan/Datsun Maxima(my dad had the 2.8 5-speed...that was awsome)
'02 Subaru Legacy sedan

Erm that's all I can think of now...

For the love of trees! Don't you dimwits even READ the posts to which you're responding?

I apologize for the harshness, but really...

my vote would have gone with the Lotus/Opel Omega/Carlton, as seen here:

but since we can't use these q-ships because they're retuned versions, i'll go with the BMW 5 Series (and not the M5)

Jaguar XJ8:

Geez...four doors, huh? That kind of narrows it down for me, but I'd second the Volvo S80, Mercedes S-Class (1999 version, not the new one), and probably most things BMW (although aside from an E30 M3, I'll never own one).

Ford Sierra 4x4

I learned to drive in this car so I like it allot.

Jaguar S-Type

Yeah I know its a really a ford underneath but i still like it

Ford Mondeo

well I like it

Lexus IS 200

My unkle has one so that is the reason for me liking it.

Are these plain enough???

Now, here are the correct answers.

For the reliability nuts...

For the stupid (though I love the style and I would hate to see "the American sedan" die)....

For the brilliant...

the convenice of the cd changer location .(glove comparmet)bmw, jaguar, mercedes, and many more are in the back.

once i beat a camaro in the highway.

the GS 400 is the faster stock sedan in the planet .(stock)
the point is GS 400 is best car you can buy for that price

'Best looking' - not 'Best'

Hey, M5Power, how come I get tthe cool Fairlane gasser? Looks like a beast.

And, hey, I like the looks of the previous-gen GS400! I think they're pretty cool.

I'm a big fan of first-gen SHOs, too; if we're going to include the hot mammas, though, I have to put my vote behind the Impala SS as well. Those things look like grim death going down the fast lane at 90. You can drive tham all day like that, too.

Actually, that was a correcting comment.

I don't mind the GS400, but the styling's not what you'd call attractive - it's actually a very square vehicle, and the attempt to match the round taillights with the round highbeam headlight's a bit ordinary.

I'd rate a W124 Benz well above a GS400, styling wise.
