Wow I never new that about the :vauxhall: Vectra
So the Vectra car is found in 3 Manufacturers :lol:
Now there's:
-:vauxhall:/:embarrassed:pel: and :holden: badges found on the Vectra car design .. fo Holden do the rest of the vauxhall: range?

Wow this is getting mad?... :lol:

But then I guess it's seen everywhere:

:toyota: Yaris is a Vitz
:toyoya: Altezza is a Lexus IS200
:mazda: MX-5 is a Miatia..

Sorry to go totally off the subject Vat_man...:banghead:

My favourite Standard Sedan, probably the :ford: Focus.
Is their a :nissan: Primera Sedan yet or is it just Hatchback version?

Not sure if it's a retro thing or not, I just much prefer other models. Not big on the X-Type either.

Alex, the MX-5 is the Miata(no not Miatia)is the Roadster. In Japan it's the Roadster, in Europe and austrillia and in there it's MX-5, and in America it's MX-5 Miata.

It's worse than that - it sells in Brazil as a Chevrolet.

Hey, M5Power, how come I get tthe cool Fairlane gasser? Looks like a beast.

And, hey, I like the looks of the previous-gen GS400! I think they're pretty cool.

:lol: - No, I just put that in there because it wasn't stock and it had a big wing, and whatever. I was looking for a completely modified M car to violate all of the vat_man's rules, but no luck. :lol:

I liked the previous one too, but there were better-styled ones out there, and it got pretty dated near the end.

Actually, that was a correcting comment.

I don't mind the GS400, but the styling's not what you'd call attractive - it's actually a very square vehicle, and the attempt to match the round taillights with the round highbeam headlight's a bit ordinary.

I'd rate a W124 Benz well above a GS400, styling wise.

Yeah - I think the rear overhang is way too long for the sloping, short front of the GS.

Ok so I spelt it wrong :rolleyes:

Thanks for the correction and I think you could sort this out? 'Austrillia' :lol:

Only kidding mate.... thanks for the :mazda: info for different countries :earth:

I had one. Long story. Is no more.

My biggest beef was the fact that its handling literally sucked. Do you know the turning circle is bigger than the long-wheelbase GM minivans? :rolleyes:

That 94 SHO has a V6 in it. 3.0 liter if it is a MTX and 3.2 if ATX. All 89 thru 95 SHOs had a V6, the 3.2 liter ATX was not introduced until 93. 3.4 literV8 SHOs did not come out until 96-99. The V8 SHOs are slower thant the V6 due to the extra weight and ATX only. Many people swap their 3.0 to a 3.2 in their MTX, I will be doing this as well.

3.0 = 220hp 200ft-lbs
3.2 = 220hp 215ft-lbs
3.2 w/ 3.0 cams = 240hp 230 - 240ft-lbs
3.4 = 235hp 230ft-lbs

Since this thread was brought back from the dead, I'd better respond to this one.

What have you got against Skoda?! I want an Octavia RS! If they sell Skoda in Mexico, I might just get an Octavia RS!

Working in Vallet for as long as I did, I can honestly say, I truely enjoyed driving these two cars:

Lexus GS-400
ext_GS-275.jpg

BMW I-series (MT)

I'd definitely have to recommend the G35. In its cheapest form, its a sedan with no spoiler....still not bad looking, and the handling and speed are awesome.

I think the best looking "stock" for door sedan is the Lexus IS-300. :) I always have loved them since I first found them as the Altezza in GT2.

I am quite fond if the IS300. But y'all know I have a soft spot in my heart for the Taurus SHO any year, any engine.
I also really like the big, honkin' Chevy Caprice Classic (SS version.)

I like the 2002 and up bmw 7 series. Those cars are so luxurious. I sat in one at our local dealer- damn. So roomy and technology advanced.

Ive always had a thing for Holden Calais for the 86 VL to the current VY. But mostly the VN because my dad had one and it was awesome. Best memory would be going up the Mangaweka Ranges (in the north island of NZ) doing 180kmh but wheelspinning at 190

And then there are current sedans like the new 3 series and new Nissan Primera.

the 1985 VK Holden Calais is one of my all time fav cars. a few hundred hp from a 5 litre AUSTRALIAN V8. power steering, power windows, alloy wheels etc. bloody good car. they still fetch around 10 - 15 grand.

The best looking 4 doors are:

C32 AMG
WRX
Jaguar XJ(Thats my car!)
Lexus GS400

I like those the best.

I would also take an M5 or S55 as well. But thats assumed.
