I think Red Rock Valley would be a great circuit for the more powerful cars to stretch their legs.

I don't like tracks that seems unreal. I understand that in PS1 age they had to do original tracks because modeling real ones were really hard. But now, everytime I race in places like Cape Ring I felt cheated. IMO, the game starts to feel arcadish.

This is why I like Apricot Hill, Grand Valley (despite the bridge), Medfield... they are more feasible tracks.

I find all the track layouts of GT2 acceptable personally, except the jumps in Seattle - those are quite silly. Actually so long as there isn't 500 degree turns, jumps or tracks hanging off the side of a mountain I will probably find the track acceptable, from a believability standpoint.

I don't know if they were in GT4 because I cancelled my GT4 pre-order when online was pulled because I was already into racing online and wasn't going back as much as I wanted the game. But my favorite original GT track.......at least I think it's original.......I don't imagine it's real.....was in GT PSP, Cathedral Rocks Trail. The full layout with street and dirt. I have a ton of fun on that track. I actually prefer it over El Cap though I love that too.

My two other favorite tracks not in GT6 are Grand Canyon and Tahiti Maze. Love running those on my Vita, and can't even imagine how incredible both would look on PS3 or better yet, PS4. Tahiti Maze, in the rain, dense ground-level fog......yeah, I'll take that, please!

I'm not much of a fan of street courses. I HATE T246 and the Special Stages. But Seattle was a good one, and I'd like New York and Costa di Amalfi just for their potential for VAST visual appeal on modern hardware.

I'd rather die than race online on Citta di Aria, even against racers I trust. No good would come of it.

I chose Midfield over SSR11 and Grindelwald. Old Rome Circuit, Pikes Peak (Road course now), Citta di Aria and Costa de Amalfi weren't on there so I couldn't consider them.:(

I'm hoping for some of the original Rally tracks to return, like Swiss Alps, Tahiti Maze, and Smokey Mountain. I want to see what it looks like being updated to run on the PS3. The Rally and Pikes Peak cars we'll have in GT6 deserves some more tracks beyond what we had in GT5. It was so little that GT5 couldn't make a separate league like it had in GT2/GT3.

My picks would be:
  1. Midfield-One of the first tracks I played on GT. A great circuit for racing that I would like to see return
  2. El Capitan-It's such a shame that it never made it into GT5 despite Red Bull leaking it. Very interesting cricuit with very fast corners. If it does return I would also like to see the inclusion of the Cathedral Rocks circuits (1-3)
  3. Seattle-Again, shame it didn't make it into GT5, despite the teasers by PD, being one of my favourite city tracks. I would also like them to bring back the Short variant
Btw, in the poll it says Honk Kong :dopey:

And to add to the tracks missing in this poll, is probably the BEST TRACK EVER!!!!!

Do we really need Test Course any more, now we have SSRX?

Test Course on GT1 and GT2 was good. Lap times were about a minute with the 700HP cars and the turns occasionally required lifting, so it wasn't mind-numbingly boring like the 10KM Test Course on the PS2 games. It would be unique from the current ovals confirmed for GT6.

HAHA i remember that, oh GT concept... kicking myself for selling it all those years back.

Midfield!!! That course simply has some of the most amazing "flow" I have felt in a race track, may not be the most complex but it's a whole bag o chips with dip kinda fun

BTW, Rome and Rome night were nice too. The last one almost unknown :D

Everytime i race on this circuit i feel like i'am playing some beta GT2, because it was almost non-used in the events. Only in Event Synthesizer and dealership races. (which were randomly selected)

I never liked that Midfield had banking everywhere and huge curbs. It was a nice little power track to race on, but really nothing special at all imo.

El Capitan, how could you deny this awesome circuit? It's like what Trial Mountain only wished it could be.

Ahhhh, the sound! Brings back so many memories.

I loved Cathedral Rocks trail, was such a fun track, would love more tracks like that oh the fun times

oh no, this choice is impossible...
I voted for Tahiti, more specifically, all 3 Tahiti tracks, with Tahiti Road being my favourite.
Though I would love to see Seattle, both incarnations of SSR11, the REAL Rome, Complex String, Smokey Mountain et cetera, et cetera

Most of the tracks that were culled from GT I dearly miss, (well maybe not the Paris ones)
edit: Super Speedway is confirmed, it will be there along with the rest of Twin Ring Motegi
