Doesnt anyone here like the wild howl of a S2000?it is completely represantive of the real car.And by the way i hate the slrazor sound.

Well, I have to go with the JGTC Supra's, unbelievable

But since it's a race car I have to go with the Aston Martin Vanquish

Pawnes ass, BMW's sucks, especially the M5 :ill:

Alive Ghost
I've just heard the sound of that Saleen S7 it's amazing!!!!

No it isn't. It's just the crappy sound of the Viper GTS-R Team Oreca.

Also, when on a inside cam of a stock Skyline R34, you have a pretty impressive boxy vacuum cleaner sound

TRD_POWeR
Tuner Cars: Definitely the Amuse CarbonR
I'd go along with that.

Yep, and that. But then again, to someone who likes the sound of the Ford GT *cough*ghost*cough* it might sound OK

I for one can't stand the SLR's noise... Perhaps it was too much frustration in Mission 34 that put me off it, but I've done it now :D
Still don't like the car though :P

Oh, and Pink_The_Floyd, I just don't use the inside cam on the CarbonR because the only way to get the sound is to look back, and with almost six hundred horses that ain't clever :dopey:

maybe graycap i havn't listened to that yet. I will have to have a listen.
Actually I have, there are worse and there are better. It's one of the good ones though.

How about the '64 Tempest LeMans GTO? It sounds wonderful, albiet way quieter than it should be. And Dark Elite, make sure you have the sound on GT4 set on "mono", not stereo if you're just playing it through your tv. I had mine on stereo and couldn't hear anything in the Yellowbird until I figured it out.

TVR Speed 12 of course.
The sound itself expresses all the power of the car.

BTW, GT4 is supposed to be realistic in all aspects, including the engine sound, but it seems they didn't sample all cars. The Citroën 2CV for instance has a very characteristic sound in real life, which has nothing to do with the sound in the game. :indiff:

I'm not playing the game right now (got the PS2 taken away), but from what I remember, the Mine's Lancer Evolution has a nice sound.

i love listening to the 63 Z06 race car at idle and to like 2500 rpm just burbling with that lopey sound

but for real cars - i havent heard all of the cars but iguess ill settle on nissan R34 GT-R and i cant remeber which cars i like that i havent modded

I think a more apt question would be "What car has the most realistic sound?" i.e. which cars actually sound like real cars when you're driving them? I've only found a couple, although I'll admit I haven't driven every car in the game.

that's a good point
i kinda get mad that a lot of the high revving VTEC hondas sound tougher than my Chevelle SS
and the C5-R isnt even close to what ive heard on speed channel for 5 years the sound should be s much throatier

Some unmodified muscle cars sound pretty nice (Cobra, Buick Special, Monaro.)
Though I much prefer the SLR with sports muffler, Pescarolo-Judd, A4 Touring Car and Mazda 787B.
