Damn, I was hopping to look better with the Porsche - the GTR should be faster than the Porsche though - sadly. Guess I still need some practice/setup finetuning (accelaration need improvement).
If anyone has a faster Setup for the Class B GT3 RS - I´d be interested to see what differs to mine.

So far my times (on Autolog) for Spa are Bugatti...2.05, Apollo 2.08, Audi R8 B-class...2.17.

These are on Auto, and I'll admit to being 60 in a couple of weeks, so my reactions aren't what they were.

First of all I´ll tip my hat to you for still playing computer games at age 59!
The 2:17 for the B-Class Audi should go as a good refernce for the Porsche. Which means I still have a lot of work to do - 10sec of can´t be all bad skills...:guilty:

Haha!...never too old, just slower.

Needless to say, my 17 year-old son, who has yet to pass his driving test makes Shift2 look soooo easy.

Here I'm struggling with the slippery Bugatti (since re-tuned using STEVE182rs' settings 👍 and track control turned off), but Autopolis GP remains one of my favourite tracks. :)
.
.

I find it helps me get better times if I practice with AI set to 'hard', but you do swear a lot more.

Hi,

I´m triing to find out what a 2:28:437 is worth - done in a Porsche GT3 RS Class B 1498 Points. Anyone here got a referenz for me?

I need to look into this.

At least I´ll know where I stand. Problem is I love the porsches well knowing that they aren´t the fastet cars. That makes it hard to find a comparison...

I dont think the 911s are as quick this time around which is a great shame, on shift i had a GT3 at 10 rate beating R8s and a GT2 at 14 beating lambos.

Damn I must be getting the tuning all wrong. I loved my GT3 on Shift I (14) - but beating a Lambo? Only with a bad driver :indiff:

On shift i had a GT3 at 10 rate doing 145s at Autopolis GP and the GT2 doing 145s at silverstone GP, Yes beat many good lambo drivers in a 14 GT2 that was the best bit :)

Not bad. On Shift I my GT3 (14 - no Nitro) did Spa in 2:18,high...I loved that car...and still do but I can´t get the setup right on Shift 2 sofar...

Which one do you mean. I haven´t found one exactly for the GT3 RS PI 1498 Class B. Most Tunes are for works converted GT2/GT3 or the RSR/Cup-R.

I've a feeling you're going to make us all cry now. :(

I am not :yuck: I did only two laps

Sadly i don't know your tune, especially the parts you use to reach 1498 points in car rating  But i did in Porsche GT3 RS (car rating 1493) 2:22.576 (2 laps). So there is definelty some work you need to put into knowig SPA. Even i can shake some more of that lap time. I would say it's worm up lap.

OK...thats good to know. I believe I know my way around Spa (atleast i did in Shift I) but I guess my Setup is still way of - so back to track...

Ok, so I just bought the car and upgraded it to 1493.

First time driven, race mode 3 laps against 'hard' AI, no tuning, auto gears.

I got 3rd with 2.29...behind Lambos. :(

I'll have a go again with some 'experimental' tuning.

2.28.782, with a slight tune, and 6 AI 'hard' sometimes getting in my way. :irked:

This Porsche is a nice car to drive, but lacks top end speed to make up for my lack of cornering finesse on the higher speed type track. :(

(I used Terronium's GT3 RSR 1520 tune)

My tune for 911 RS is this.

Ah thanks.

That's totally different to Terronium's (admittedly for London River).

I'll give that a try. 👍

Do you use time attack for your times ?

I tune my cars specifically for one track only. Then there is another tune for another track, so mine might be slight different. And there is always different style of driving. As for lap time then, Yes it's from Time Trial set for 4 minutes. First lap is always around 2:22, second is slightly faster or slower. I think there is a second or even two, to shake off. 2:21.xxx should be good lap. At least i would be happy of it.

I tried your tune, but couldn't get below 2.26, so I got frustrated and annoyed, took the Bugatti round and reduced my time with that to 2.03.335. (auto-trans). Not good, but not bad for me. :)

Oh, and my time for the Audi R8 B-class was wrong. It was a lousy 2.25.

Just did a 15 minute Spa Time Attack on-line with all Bugatti entry, and won, further reducing my time to 2.01.955. :)

Must have been the practice.

Nice work graham, did you try new lambo tune ricky? am gona try a GT3 at B class see what time we get

Thanks for the tune - looks good. Now I see where my problems are (I use the break to often). Need to have more confidence in the car. Don´t have much time tonite, but the first couple laps felt good, so I´ll take it from here. Thanks for the help, reference and the tune!
