Does anyone know what the highest resale value is? I am only certain I've seen 90,000cr as the highest resale value, but then I think I've seen a car in my garage that was worth 110,000cr when sold.
Is there a maximum price that you can get for selling a car, then anything above this is unsellable?
I figure that if 90,000 is the maxium resale value, and the resale value is always a 3rd of the original price; any car bought for more than 300,000 can't be resold.
PS. If you use 1967 there are 4 cars that can be won worth 15 million or more;
Lambo Miura P400, Ford Mark IV Race Car, Ferrari 330 P4 Race Car, 2D Race Car.
Also, if you use 1977 you're guaranteed to always get the Lancia Stratos Rally car, worth 4.9 million.

This was already discussed in excess and this thread is meant for people who do not have time to do 17 hours of indi racing in order to get cars they like to drive. It is already mentioned here (at least in my step-by-step tutorial) that the cars you get should not be used only or traded. I don't know if all the guys are taking this advice, but I would like to think that at least some people do use this feature of the game and only use the cars for themselves.
Using this method to gain money is much more inefficient so i don't mind if they do it. They get less money/min, no xp and don't practice while doing it. So they are robbing themselves of the fun.

It may be 4 cars per acct/per day, I'll try to confirm it today. But you may send other cars from other accts as well. Out of the 3 cars I sent, I got the first 2 only, the 3rd one didn't come trough. I didn't try sending the other 2 cars as gift cards instead of as cars. However, I was able to send another car to my master from a different year acct, so it was 3 cars I received in total yesterday.

Last night, after I got my Mark IV, I sent myself cars to test the limit. I got the Mark IV and two other cars. I tried sending a forth, but it did not go through.
So in my case, it looks like 3 is the limit. I sent them all through the Garage
triangle -> give to friend
And took them one at a time on my main account.

Okay so after testing this is what I have found out and I want to see if anyone else can add to it (especially on the sending tickets part).
-I used the exit before clicking "okay" button after sending the car and am always able to send 2 cars, the 3rd will never show up. Do I even have to quit the game before clicking okay or will it still allow me to send 2 cars, sorry if that was confusing but those who know the "send more than 1 car per day" old trick know what I mean (by the way that no longer works for normal trading).
-after reaching your limit the account is not totally useless. Get one more birthday car and hold it until the next day, then you can gift it to yourself, so the account is useful for 2 days!
-I tried using the birthday gift and then going to an earlier time zone to the day before and gifting the car (after the actual day wouldn't gift anymore), well it didn't work, I was actually suprised by that. So don't waste your time trying
-I haven't tried gifting up a day, but it can be useful if it works. Meaning if its 10pm your time, gift the two cars it allows, then after receiving your next birthday car, exit out, change the timezone to 1 am the next day, then gift the car! haven't tried it but it should work. now go back to the birthday date, and do it again, if two cars works great, if it doesn't still gift one more car because 2 days later you can send it. Make sense, so if they works we should be able to gift anywhere from 4-5 cars with one account. Maybe more if tickets work after the physical car limit...

It is possible to send 3 cars using the same account since there is a limit of one trade per day on car tickets too, but its not shared with the car trading limit.
So what you do is that you get the car you want, send it to your main account, then you delete your save and start again and send the birthday gift ticket to your main account.
After that you delete your save again and get the car you want but once you get it, do not send it, just keep it and wait until the next day.

Hmm that seems like it might work. If i would be able to send 3 cars per account, this sunday i might be able to multoply my 33 cars to around 90
I just need to know if i can send say 2 or 3 cars to one account, then send them to another account and not have them lost in the ether. If i can do that, then my 6 B-day accounts (set up for sunday) will have a VERY fun time getting me 91 cars.
Well I have always been able to send 2 cars but never tried the ticket, so I wonder if it will let me send 2 cars and a ticket, will try this weekend... If the timezone trick works and you can send 2 cars and 1 ticket each day that means you can send 6 cars in one night, plus add a car to that account to send 2 days later...
See why do people think cheating isn't fun, the fun is figuring out ways around what PD tries to stop you from doing! I would rather spend 2 hours doing this and 2 hours racing the cars, than 8 hours getting the cash to buy the cars I want, I don't have that much time.

So 6 cars in one night. . . that means my birthday thing is was planning on doing could net me roughly 158 cars? wow.
EDIT: I have compiled a way to get 6 birthday cars to one account in a day. I will now put this into a list.
- Make the account
- Get into GT5 on its "birthday" and continue cycling until getting the desired car
- Gift the car to the account needed
- When it says "Upload complete", go to the XMB and exit without saving
- Go back into GT5 and send the car again. Press OK this time. If you aren't sure it will work, perform the previous two steps again before this one to make sure two cars go to the desired account.
- Delete the current savegame that you glitched with.
- Make a new savegame and gift the birthday ticket to the desired account
- Delete this savegame and make a new savegame
- Repeat the previous step until getting the desired car again.
- After getting the desired car, exit to the XMB after saving and switch the time zone to one that will put you one day in the future
- Gift the car, exit without saving, gift again, exit without saving, and gift again then exit after saving.
- Delete the savegame.
- Switch the timezone back to the birthday date
- Make a new save game and get the ticket.
- Exit to the XMB after saving
- Switch the timezone back to one day in the future
- Enter GT5 and send the ticket to the main account
- If it works as intended, you should end up with 4 gift cars and 2 gift tickets on your main account.
- Repeat these steps for each account that you are gifting to for each birthday account.
- Congratulations! you have tons of cars!
I will be doing those steps a total of 27 times on Sunday. I should end up with 168 cars dispersed between 8 accounts if this works properly

Has anybody been able to get any of the Peugot 908 cars? All I keep getting are these freakin' Nascar cars..

Bro, you have no idea, I must have tried a 2010 acct probably about 20 times and nothing but Nascar cars show up.
On a happy note, I tried a '70 acct and got the Chaparral 2J. This and the Toyota 7 Race cars are about the only cars one can beat the Historic Race event with, it's that challenging. The Chaparral 2J handles quite well for such a boxy looking car..
Anyways, back on topic, I'll try the 2010 acct again later see if the 908 shows up.

Not sure if anyone tried a '60 acct for the Morrison Corvette since I think it's the only car in the game from 1960, but it seems the game only gives '61 cars as a prize instead. I tried it 4 times, and all 4 times were '61 year cars.
