how can people open sub accounts for 2010 and 2009? it just wont let me do it says im inegible to open an account but say 1999 it lets me set up :indiff: anyone can tell me why?

make a new main account in hong kong (birthday >18) with a real e-mail adresse.
then make a second account in hong kong (birthday in 2009 for example). It will ask you about a "parent" account (which is the first one you did). Fill in the data and you'll get a mail with a code + link. klick the link and fill in the code and you are done. (Quoted from a few post back by Stadti)

You could always try reading the thread :)

But to save you time, make a Hong Kong master account with a birthdate of over 18 years then you can make under 18's sub accounts from that master account which should also be Hong Kong based.
You will need to set up a new email address and have access to a pc.

There are more details available if you search the forum.

anyone done this method in North America? if it works plzz post bk lol i'm in Canada and it doesn't work...my sub accounts can't go online

im canadian and im born in HK LOL and this HK method doesn't work for me haha:tup:

My understanding was you delete the data and you can send again. Not so? I receive the gift car every time I delete data, so it doesn't remember me getting the gift car, but it DOES remember I sent a gift car???

Correct. It's one PSN account and one car per day. Just tried an hour ago and the sceond car disappeared.

why doesn't it work? what message do you get?

you have do make both accounts, the master and the sub account in hong kong. if you fail to make the master account in hong kong psn will not believe you that this is the accounts of your parents/guardian.
same goes for the sub account, if you don't make it in hong kong it the sub account function may be deactivated by psn as it is in all of europe.
If you have a credit card you can always make 2 accounts in the USA. There you need cc information to activate the sub account instead of a activation code per mail.

I did master account in HK and I did HK for sub accounts I got the code in my email and used it to make the sub accounts but when I log into the sub accounts...this message pops up:

"Online service is disabled on your Playstation Network account due to parental control restriction."
 
oh that's easy. log in with your master account on your playstation. go to your account information (the icon after you logged in). there you have a point which is called sub accounts. press that one and enter your password. choose which account you want to edit and switch the chat function from disabled to enabled
 
I'm using the HK acc and somehow I can't set the date today (13/12/2010) as it state that you must provide a valid date but there's no problem when I change it to 2009. Does anyone have the same problem?
 
any body know any other good years after 1992 to set my bday too.

i could use a german touring car and a nice raced out japanese car

lol yea I forgot to mention, I already had the chat option enabled from the start :confused: but I still get that message: "Online service is disabled on your Playstation Network account due to parental control restriction."

Same thing here. Can't figure out what the problem is. All Parent Controls are OFF.
The only thing I can think of is that the game itself has Parental Control Level 3,so it just wouldn't let you play,unless you're older than 7.

But how do other people get it to work then? :ill:

I finally decided to get a few cars I really want doing this, Since I am from Brazil, PSN does not accept my CC number so I tried to do the Hong Kong method.

Made a Master +18 in Hong Kong.

Made a Sub account (2005) in Hong Kong.

Set all parental things under "Definitions" > "Security" on both accounts to "OFF";
Chat is "ON".

The Thing is with the master i have no problems going Online, but with the Sub it just wont go online at all, says "Online service is disabled on your Playstation Network account due to parental control restriction."

Anyone ?

If you've read the posts in the thread you would know that you should select Hong Kong as country for both master and sub.
 
So does the "one gift per day" thing apply only if you're using the latest patch (1.03?) or is it connected to the PSN network? I've not applied the patch yet, so I'm still on 1.01 (I think).
 
Is there an actual STEP BY STEP tutorial on this? I'd like to try, but I don't understand the whole master, adult and child account stuff. Or am I missing something?

So I counldnt find a away anywhere on how to solve this problem, so I decided to try using a Japanese Master Account.

-Created a + 21 Master Account in Japan
-Created a 2005 Sub account in Japan
-All Hardware Parental controls (under Settings>Security Settings) are OFF in all accounts above
-Chat is Enabled

Again the master account goes online just Fine, but the Sub account i get the "Online service is disabled on your Playstation Network account due to parental control restriction." and it wont go Online at all.

For the ppl that did this not using Credit Card Info since Im from brazil and it doesnt accept any of my CCs. Any help ? Tyvm.

If you made the account on your computer you may have to enable it again on the ps3 through the master account. It happend twice to me that on the psn homepage and account making page I enabled them put when I checked on the ps3 they were disabled.

Step1
Make a main account (if you are from the us and have a cc make it there if not make one in Hong Kong) with a valid e-mail. Use the year of the car as your year of birth (eg 11.12.1967) and the acctual day and month

Step 2
Make a sub account if you want a car which is less than 18 years old (with main acc max 1992) (eg. 11.12.2010) and the acctual day and month

Step 3
Make a new user at your ps3 and enter the acc datas from the created account

Step 4
Start the game and see what car you get. if you like it send it to your real account. if not either quit the game before it saves or delete the savegame and do it again.

Step5
If you have send the car delete the user at the ps3 and set up new sub/main account depending on the year of the car.

Step6
DO NOT trade the car with other users as this is ruining the game, use it ONLY for yourself

If you have a magical/ingenious way to change the order of the posts in a thread you are welcome to do so and move it to the first answer here.
 
just a heads up, there's no way to quit the game after you know what car you've received, as soon as you accept the ticket it will autosave, the only way to try again is to delete the gamesave
