just a heads up, there's no way to quit the game after you know what car you've received, as soon as you accept the ticket it will autosave, the only way to try again is to delete the gamesave

You're right. It was possible before the patch that limited it to 1 car per day because the game saved after you were asked if you want to use it straight away.

Doesn't it save after you press "Ok?" Btw, what's wrong with an extra car? :P

Unless the game detects that you have used the birthday exploit before on this account even after a saved game is deleted, there is no way to limit how many times you can do this on a single day.

Has this glitch been fixed? I just did this and the car I got has the "Give to Friend" option grayed out.

EDIT: Nevermind. The option just became available. Maybe it was still saving or something, I don't know.

If you've read the posts in the thread you would know that you should select Hong Kong as country for both master and sub.

You right. Sorry about that.

Well, whats happening with GaothMaclachlan it's exactly the same thing with me. even turning off all parental controls on the PS3 and the master account, sub account can not connect. Shows the same message.

You literally will spend way more time wasted in creating accounts to cheat than actually trying to earn something. This is so freakin' lame...

You are wrong my friend. If you use this to only get high dollar cars you want then you will save tons of time. It's elementary math at the most.

The whole "you can only give 1 car per day" new limit from PD

IS FALSE. The people that wrote that to mislead others should be banned.

It still works as good as it did on Day 1. I can still receive multiple cars.

If you have a magical/ingenious way to change the order of the posts in a thread you are welcome to do so and move it to the first answer here.

Well, coulden't you just've ASKED the thread starter to ADD it to his pist, perhaps?

Problem with USA Accounts (for me at least) is that it requieres you to give your Credit Card Info, but I think since my credit cards are From Brazil it just says the info is wrong/not valid, tried with my Visa and Amex, none of them worked.

So Hong Kong and Japan would be the way to go, but I cant go Online cause of that mysterious parental lock.

I tried with 2005 Sub accounts, ill make a 1993 to see what happens.

I just hope all this cheating doesn't get the Birthday cars taken away, I still have to wait till march so see what '81 Poop I get LOL

i'm a bit confused... if you already have a us account that is your main... do you still have to go and make a main/sub account for HK? Or can I just simply make a sub account of my normal (use every day) main US account with the birthday that I want?

TIA

This is kinda lame and kinda impressive how much people are exploiting this. Lame because you are too lazy to actually earn the cars. Impressive because of how persistant you are. I will not use this though, it just seems pretty cheap.

Actually I think quite the same way. I can understand it for cars which cost 20 million credits and are not really the "goal" of the game like the X1. But I can't understand people doing this for a lambo or any car which is worth less than a million. I personally did this for some old 20 million credit race cars and then I stoped. I have not raced a single event with them that I haven't golded earlier, so it's for pure convenience to avoid going in circles for a dozen or more hours to get it and of course for the fun of driving. But seriously doing this for a car which is worth less than a million is just not worth it because doing the indi race for the same amount of time it takes you to get such a car you could buy it + you get xp + you train your skill (even if its just for left turns) + you may earn more money and are able to fully mod it. That's a lot of pluses for the grinding way of getting them, but as I said before, for cars worth more than a million it's worth doing because it's faster and you have more time to enjoy the car.

Lazy? We people who actually have lives, work and families, besides videogames, just don't have the time. 👎

One question. You say you don't have the time, yet you take as the thread starter said, 30 minutes for 3 accounts just to get 3 cars. Also, I'm not against some people exploiting it, I just said that I would not do it.

This is fantastic. Another rekindling of the great moral debate.

Those who choose to exploit the glitch will continue to do so and those who choose not to will just do other things.

Can we please collectively move on from this absurd, immature, and never-ending argument? Live and let live. Why don't we leave the moderation of the "system" to Polyphony or whoever else is in charge? At least they're getting paid to do it.

I figured out why some people including me are getting the "Online service is disabled on your Playstation Network account due to parental control restriction" message.

GT5 has a "internal" Parental control set to 3 witch means i think, You need to be at least 7 to play it.

So the maximum we can set Birthdays at is 2003. It worked for me. If I go with 2004 I get the message Again.

A way around it, is Call Sony. But 2003 will work just fine !

IMO, the "lazy" ones are the ones who have time to sit around all day and do nothing but grind in GT5.

But what do I know...I work a lazy 50 hours a week.

Sorry if you took it the wrong way, but in my opinion it is because I don't like cheating on games. What's the fun in magically getting 10 cars instead of actually earning them? I just don't like it personally, but if you want to go ahead.

No, no offense taken at all.

It really comes down to opinion as well as how the glitch is used. I never used the glitch to magically get 10 cars. I used the glitch to acquire vehicles I will more than likely never be able to afford because my life commitments do not allow me to "grind" all day long. I just plain do not have the time, and even if I did, I have no desire to drive the same race over and over and over again just to get money to be able to afford a car. I just don't see the point in it.

Cheating means you are taking advantage of others. We are not, we are taking advantage of our own time. You don't get rewards nor xp points for online racing in GT5. Host can always put horse power limitation if desired.

So where the hell does that cheating came from?

Download GT5 iso off from Internet without paying a penny sounds more like cheating to me.

according to your find then, a lot of the older post should be deleted or edit b/c it is misleading a lot of people lol including me:tdown:

lol there is always still the option to just inputting the CC info :grumpy:

hmm wat would happen, if i were to make a canadian sub account and input my CC number, will that let me get 2003+ cars?

Probably yes, cause i thikn people getting cars in 2010 all used their CC info, and are Using USA Master/Sub Account

So again a few more tries to find something new, and i totally forgot to test 2004. and its a Go.

So for people that cant use their Credit Card For any reason, and need to make Master/Sub Account in Hong Kong/Japan the max you can go is 2004, if u try 2005-2010 You get the parental Lock Message, and wont be able to go online.
