Thanks for all the comments.

Just yesterday I found out a team designed and built a twin Turbo kit for the 5.0. So far so good but its an automatic. I think I might just sit back and see if any issues come up and if they decide to manufacture the kit. I think they dynoed it at 605rwhp.

As far as I've heard from owners here, those big Ford V8s will be more than adequate with superchargers. Proven setup, still retain their reliability, and so forth. Nothing wrong with opting for a turbo kit, but they generally seem to be more costly & their reliability can be questionable by some.

Most of the 'Stangs I've seen running turbo kits are shooting for high horsepower numbers, anyway. Unless that's your goal one day, I'd say remain with the s/c option.

That's true. We'll have to wait and see. I have a ways to go before I'm gonna pull the trigger on an FI mod.

EDIT: Looks perrty though.

Consider a Shelby package!!

I might go with a vortech supercharger. Alot of guys are putting out around 600hp to the wheels with that system. Around 500lb.ft. as well.

I have a Shelby package with 725 at the crank, not sure what it is at the wheels.

What year? When you mean Shelby package your not talking about the super snake are you?

*cough*Prove it*cough*

Graham's legit, someone with a stable like his has no reason to lie.

Oh, and yes I want to see pictures and then hopefully see it in person when spring comes around.

Thank you Joey, you have seen it, it's coming out of KL's garage, will post once it's delivered later in the week.

Nice 👍! I was in love with that car while walking around the collection!

Well I don't live next door to him like you, so as you can guess I wanted proof when some random person makes a claim like that on the internet. You understand. :)

Wow that's really nice. I love Super Snakes. Unfortunetly, i'm pretty sure I need a GT500 before I can do a Super Snake package.

Stable? As in collection? Now i'm curious.

They do some great packages on the other mustangs as well.

Ah the GTS. It is nice but I like the look of mine now. But if I did have a GT500 i'd seriously consider a super snake package.

I have to admit. I am jealous. Even though I'd prefer a 10-11 super snake that thing is a beast. Even when I SC this that will trump mine.

Don't be, every car/owner is unique that's what makes the car habit so cool. What you have done so far looks great in my eyes.

I put a sticker on my car! :dopey:

SMR is Silver Mustang Registry, 1978 is my car's number. Mostly I think it looks good.

Blackbird, I had to park next to an FF for that upgrade feeling.

I saw a red super snake this morning with black stripes. Ill admit it looked sinister. It was your body style. Shame it was wet out, would have liked to hear her roar.

Btw, me and a friend of mine decided to name her Lexi. I never thought of naming my car but she insisted I had to and we agreed on that. So, there you have it.
