I would just like to thank you Blitz, for your GTR tunes, Suzuka and Daytona. I used them both and they are very good, however the people using 45/55 torque distribution are just unstoppable. I am looking forward to trying your GTR tune for fuji. THANKS once again.

Nice to see you here. 👍 And yes, unfortunately your are correct, about the tunes for the Nissan GTR's. Our tune here at Blitz Hendrix Tuning for Daytona Road is a good solid tune, but like you said the people with 45/55 torque distribution, those are the one's what will be competing for victories every race they enter.

I havent tried it myself, but maybe it will work... otherwise I can always try and make a special 45/55 Edition for Daytona if its really that much faster.. Let me know and I'll look into it!

Well yesterday, I was using a different tune, for the Nissan GTR. I just could'nt believe what was happening. I was battling for victories, nearly all the races I entered. Oh yeah, and with the the fast guys aswell. So basically, different tunes produce different times. 👍

Well, then I guess its back to the drawing board isnt it Lets see if we can make a monster tune... and not post it until its really going as fast as possible without any possible further improvement... we'll call it Project 45/55

Edit- Did it happen to be the RPM/timeattack tune?? I saw that in the race time thread.. but didnt have time to try it... I also have the Digital Racecraft GTR tune which uses live dynamics... Havent tried it with the live dynamics yet, because I have to set it up on the DFP... but I think that will work really well

No, keep that original Nissan GTR tune for Daytona Road, that tune can get consistant 1.48's. But really you need consistant 1.47's to compete with the top guys, and yesterday that's what happened, getting 1.47's all day and also if you keep up with fast guys, they can drag you in too the 1.46's.

And no, It wasn't timeattack / RPM's tune.

I am not very good at controling 45/55 setups, so I couldn't say for sure if it works. I am faster with a 45/55 setup, when i keep it on track that is. If you have time maybe you could make a 45/55 edition. I will still be a lot slower than most of the fast guys, I keep going off aswell which doesn't help. Feel free to do it or not, whatever you like.

edit:- Fuzzy is right the original tune is good for 1.48, so it should be kept and is easier to keep on the track.

Fuzzy and ASH... I was testing out the torque settings and if you guys take the existing tune and change the torque to 45/55... It drives amazing! Very stable and really fast accelerating out of the corners... I was doing 1.49s with the 35/65 setting and now I'm already doing 1.48s in my first 3 laps... so that must mean its quicker or Im just having a good day... But overall feel is nice! try it out... Oh yeah, it shines at the bus stop... never took it so fast before

We have to break the 9 minute mark... I havent been able to do it yet either... best Ive ever done til now is a 9.04.xxx 9.14.xxx but that was in the Mines... with a lot of draft.. I think with the GTR I'll be able to get closer to breaking the 9 minutes

Have you tried the existing BHT Nissan GTR tune here? I have edited it to put torque distribution on 45/55... and it flys now I must say... coming into turn1 its still a bit tricky at full speed... but once you learn how to control it its not much of a problem anymore... I've been doing consistent 1.48s with the GTR tune on 45/55 and I know a more skilled driver will be able to get the 1.46-1.47s out of it to compete with the top guys... Otherwise you can check in the Race Event thread for the PAL: 650PP daytona road event, I believe some people posted their tunes there...

As you all know, Christmas is around the corner and theres always a lot of stuff to do around the Holidays... therefore I am going to be on hold for a bit and we'll be working at minimum capacity from now until 2009! Maybe one or two tunes will still come that were still in progress, but dont expect anything big at the moment! Hendrix is also busy in his daily life from what I know... but I'll let him speak for himself.. I'd like to wish you all happy holidays and come back in 2009 for some crackin' tunes from the BlitzHendrix Crew!!! 👍

like my rubber fetish friend da BLITZ, the holiday season is here and as he explained and as you all probably know, it takes alot of free time away from us. i'm very sorry to say that things here for us will be a bit slower as we have these things called wives, girlfriends, parents and others close to us who expect, expect, expect. somehow they think they take priority over tuning cars, racing or enjoying this community of rubbery fantasies. i ask them:"why, why do you think your more important than my playstation?", then you hear things like; divorse, playstation will get burnt, the argument rises to favourite dress being burnt and before you know it death comes to mind so you can be left playing your playstation in your new house peacefully without any interruptions from my wif... okso the house is another story. gotta finish that too before january.

but i'll do my best to get something happening here.

Finally got around to trying it today,I have been racing at Fuji for a change, and have to say that it does indeed improve lap times by about a second, my best so far is a 1.47.5 after only a few laps and there is much more to come, best before was a 1.48.0, but my average was only mid 1.48s. Also I was wondering if you are still going to release the GT-R tune for Fuji 550pp, it doesn't matter if your not, I am having fun in the Subaru Impreza 07, courtesy of Paulie.
