Ferrari Fuji Event 650PP Pro- Mine's Better F40

This tune runs very stable.... but you have to be consistent if you want to keep up... and don't get too happy with the throttle because just when you think youre going well, it'll punish for too much throttle when driven too hard...

Power: 410BHP -23
Weight: 1352kg 100%

Tires: R1
Aero: 0 5
height: -14 -12
spring rate: 7 8
damper: 7 5
toe: -0.05 +0.08
camber: 1.7 1.4
brakes: 4 5

turning angle: 46
traction: off
ABS: 1

1st: 2.532
2nd: 1.697
3rd: 1.292
4th: 1.034
5th: 0.844
final: 3.891

Give me some feedback if you like! Thanks! 👍

Yes, I was amazed when I did lap times like that, and I changed the steering angle to 50 and it suits my driving style. Also the final race times I've broken the 10.40.xxx barrier, I think I got 10.39.xxx or 10.38.xxx. :)
Could you please share your driving style here, by attaching the small replay file of a FreeRun 2.07.xxx lap time, using the NO MERCY Suzuka 650PP PRO- Mine's Better Nissan GTR R35? It's only a few KB. :)
My best lap time is still 2:09:1xx, and watching your replay I'd pay attention to your braking points, you driving line, which gears you use through turns, how much throttle on corner exits, etc.
When setting max steering angle to 50, it feels like I don't need to brake so much (loosing speed) to correct understeer and hit the apex of a corner. That means corners can be taken at a higher speed, but still mantaining a good line. Through the S Curves, Dunlop, Hairpin, Spoon, Casio Triangule, etc.
I didn't test it in FreeRun, and went straight to race.
Tail happyness was not an issue. The car is stable.

NEW SETUP!!!!!!

Ferrari Fuji Event 650PP Pro- Mine's Better F40 Spec II

After my first attempt I thought I could never get this thing going faster... but after an enlightening collaboration with Marchbrown from the T&L tuning garage I managed to get it going quicker.... My laptimes dropped by almost 2 sec.... so I dare to say this car is actually competitive now if driven well! Special thanks to Marchbrown and the fellows at T&L on this one! 👍

-edit: I have changed the brakes... this makes for a tidier corner entry than the older settings...

Right, I will have to put some more time into this, in free run in the next few days. Had a go at it yesterday and got 2.08.xxx but you want a lap of 2.07.xxx. I will try my best that's all I can say. 👍

Hhhhmmm..... its seems kind of quiet here in the tuning world of GT5:P.... Does anyone have any requests for a car to tune for one of the PRO events, that hasnt been tuned already? Hell, even if its STD i'm willing to give it a shot... need a new challenge... and I want more experience with some RWD cars if possible.. 👍 Ok, now i'm going to lay back and see what comes up!

Right Haiej, I've managed to brake the 2.08.xxx barrier just. The time I got was 2.07.9xx, shall I upload that lap, or do you want me to improve abit more ?

You can share the 2.07.9xx replay. Many Thanks. 👍
My best lap time using the NO MERCY Suzuka 650PP PRO- Mine's Better Nissan GTR R35 is still only 2.08.6xx.

Well everyone, theres some new developments going on here at Mine's Better Tuning. There will be a name change coming soon. My long time friend and fellow GTPer, GTP_ledhendrix will be joining forces with me to run this tuning shop. The idea is to provide two tunes for each car we do. This way you have a choice for each car to fit different driving styles... Our driving styles and approach to tuning are completely different, so this will intern cater to a wider variety of drivers.. Name change will be coming soon and check back for tunes from GTP_ledhendrix. I will split the tunes up on the first post for easy access as well... Thats it for now!

You need to unzip them to a USB drive with nothing else on it. You need to ensure once you've put the replay onto the USB the folder structure looks like this:

PS3 --> SAVEDATA --> <<...replay folder...>> --> <<...replay files...>>

Then when you insert your USB drive into the PS3 and view it from the Main PS window, you will see the replay, simply copy it and it will paste it in the replay section. When you next go into GT5p you will be able to view the replay. I hope that helps you. 👍

hey people, i'll be posting a couple of tunes for those of you who are interested in different driving styles. let me know what you think and any feedback, good or bad will be appreciated. i have come to learn a lot from others who have tuned and i hope i can do the same for others.

i have to add that all my tunings are done on pro physics, TCS off unless stated.

some food for thought...

T&L Open: Suzuka NO MERCY 600PP PRO- BHT Lotus 111R Spec II

This tune was developed for the T&L Open: Star Wars race taking place on Dec. 3rd, 2008. My first attempt at this tune was no good. After going back to the drawing board I finally figured out how to get the car to behave how I want it too. It runs stable now and the gears seem to work nicely. Take it for a spin and check it out. Be smooth and it will fly! :) Lift-off oversteer has been minimalized now. I'm happier with this tune than the last one.... Good Luck!

T&L Open Suzuka NO MERCY 600PP PRO- BHT Lotus 111R Spec I

This tune was developed for the T&L Open race taking place on Dec. 3rd, 2008. I tried to get rid of the lift-off oversteer, if thats what I was experiencing and I managed to get it pretty stable. Never lift off the throttle fully, because it might get hairy :) And dont even start about the gears... that was the most difficult to get right for me... but I think this worked out OK for Suzuka for some reason... take it for a spin and I think there might still be some minor adjustments coming before RACE DAY.

Hello Blitz/Hendrix,
Just been looking at your tune for the T&L event, interesting. What's a good lap time in the 111r?
I've been fettling one myself but encountering similar problems with the balance/handling.
regards, Fastas____

Yeah, its quite a challenge to tune... I was doing 2.17s but I know it can go faster, my gearing is kind of tricky too... I believe Hendrix was doing 2.16s with his Evora tune. But I think both will go faster in the right hands..

-edit: I think theres people doing 2.12s in 600PP No Mercy... thats probably a time to shoot for :)

yikes, (sucks through front teeth) I remember now why I stay clear of this event, I always get served!
After 1/2 hour or so of tuning I'm pulling 2:19's, I will have a go with your set up and see if it makes a difference.
Thanks, I'll post back and let you know how I get on.👍

As we all know new events are on the way.... The expert events will have no RBE from now on which means its down to outright SKILL!! Which ALSO means, good tunes will be needed. We will try our best to provide good, fast and stable tunes for a few cars when the new events hit the GT5:P world... Check back soon for new tunes and updates! Thanks! 👍

Daytona Road 650PP PRO- BHT Mine's BNR34 Skyline GTR

I just pulled one of my old tunes out of the closet and adjusted some things and I must say its surprisingly stable... after 2 laps I was pulling 1.52s.... So I think thats pretty competitive... because on Suzuka I was NOT successful.... but this thing drives like a dream I must say... Take it for a spin and tell me what you think! 👍

Always loved Blitz187 tunes, waiting to try GTP_ledhendrix settings. Keep up with the good work at this house 👍
