finished my 1st 24 hour race last night, ran the 9 hour race overnight, and then kicked off 24 hour number 2 this morning so I can at least be able to use my ps3 saturday morning for some apsec or whatever....

my ps3 has been on pretty much since I got it 2 weeks before xmas, it locked up on me once, so I shut it down for 5 min, then restarted it. I wouldnt worry too much about leaving it on, they have a usable lifespan already, they are going to die sooner or later no matter what you do. it would be nice to know what sony has as the MTBF on the various ps3 models.

LOL This made me laugh pretty hard. I don't know if you think 9 hours is a long time to stay dark in a 24 hour race considering it stays dark for 9+ hours in real life as well.:nervous:

Well, I guess if you're closer to the north pole in summer, or the south pole in winter, it'd be dark for less than 9 hours. But it seems about right for France in June.

You'll need to Babysit them a Bit with the 908 then 👍

I finished my first 24 h at Le Mans with the 908 this morning. I didn't babysit at all and was 13 laps ahead of second place. I noticed that the AI kept the pace quite well for the first 15 hours, I only had a one minute lead by then, but then they apparently all ran out of physical strength and had to pit very often. In the end second to fifth place all pitted and changed driver every lap.
