BoP in daily races

Imo some BoP setups are giving a car a really bad handling, or simply dont feel competitive in power.
But removing BoP doesnt mean the event will be any better. It would simply give those players with a good setup even more of an advantage comparing with a default or not optimal setup - using BoP is generally a good thing.

My friend said with those times their is no way to achieve those times with a normal BoP setup.

PD needs to let us use camber etc in the settings for dailys thats what im trying to say people please dont bash me just tying to give ideas or suggestions

If you're talking about the top times in daily races, they are absolutely achievable with BoP on. Your friend is wrong unless they have any actual evidence?

The reality is that a handful of exceptional sim racers set times the normal or even good players can rarely touch.

You can literally watch the replays of the top times seeing gearing, braking, acceleration, steering inputs, assist settings.

Your friend is a little miss guided in this instance.

I hope PD is reading my post but i think they need to get rid of the BoP in dailys races let us use setups those times are glitched or hacked please be fair to PD put it in the drivers heads let us use the cars for the full power.
Setting aside the fallacy of accusing someone of cheating within a console-exclusive game, your idea wouldn’t even work because the top drivers would reduce their times by a greater margin than you can, especially when some of them are driving for eSports teams and have their teams’ resources at their disposal to find the ideal setup for them, while you would be either setting up your car alone or using YouTube videos that probably would offer a decent setup at best.

Keep in mind, you are comparing yourself to the very best drivers in Gran Turismo. In a shooter game, you might (empthasis on might) be able to get the drop on an elite player and defeat them once in a blue moon, but in a sim racing game where everyone is in the same car (or in a class roughly balanced for parity), expecting to pull off a David vs Goliath upset is… optimistic, to say the least.
