Why do people keep making these threads?
Why do you feel the need to tell the world that you dislike GT5?

If your're bored try this, https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?t=247737 if you're not first place then you have something to practice!

Also take totally stock cars (and tyres) round the Nurburgring, start with low powered cars about 120bhp and work your way up or do them in classes, ie Integra type R v Renaultsport megane v Focus ST and Ford GT v Merc SLS v 458italia v Aston V12 vantage v Lambo Gallardo etc race their ghosts and see which is fastest stock and as a bonus the replays are BRILLIANT, then take some photo's in them replays!

P.S ALL AIDS OFF! try ABS off too, totally different experience!

Keep you busy and happy for a while!👍

me too, I pretty much got all the cars that I want, the seasonal races are just not enough, I don't race online very often because almost all the room that I enter are on racing soft. I do play once in a while just to have a drive around the nurburgring

You do realise you can always create your own lobby yeah? You might be surprised how many people are out there that like the same thing as you :)

I find that joining a racing league or crew keeps the game fresh for me. Especially since I'm not the fastest person in my crew I have something to strive for and that keeps me motivated to improve my skills.

I've gotten a bit bored of GT5 but at the end of the day I know I'll be back later on. It's a good game in that sense.

Been Playing Shift II recently.

Nope....but if you are, maybe you should move on and not start a thread here that will get the flame throwers out. No point in stirring up hate. So much to do in this game, if you are bored you either aren't that good or have already spent WAY to much time playing it. Try Shift 2, you'll be back soon.

Play some other games? There are other racing games out there, you don't have to limit yourself to GT5. I've been playing Forza 4, Shift 2, Race Pro recently and they're alot of fun, I definitely recommend them to you. GT5 is a good game (although very flawed) but if you play one game constantly, you will get bored of it eventually.

If you bored then your not playing it correctly.

Try racing online with a group of people that know how to race and you'll have a greater respect for Gran Turismo and be less bored. Unfortunately, off-line racing doesn't promote good driving ethics and can become boring.

It is much more rewarding to compete in a race and perhaps wining when racing actual people.

As if there would be a correct way of playing GT5.... People get bored for various reasons. Nothing "wrong" about it.

Me, I'm not bored. Had to start all over again, my Fat Ps3 blew up and I didn't have a backup save. Oh well. I still love the game but with the seasonals single player is a completely different experience.

Had 1600 cars and just sold everything over 10,000km! Now I must collect all over again! Keeps the game fresh!

(side note. It's amazing how much better the lower mileage cars behave)

Crickey I have the exact opposite happen! Everyones on CHs with no ABS, which I mean, talk about sadists.

I exaggerate, but basically if it isn't a planned online event don't touch it, pointless waste of time, and I've gone into that online area three or four times, and when you repeat the same tasks to achieve a different result, its madness, so I'll be right without them.

Bored of GT5? Replaying the Seasonals if enough for me, once the list gets more built up it'll be better (with more specialised seasonals, and none of this A-Spec online challenge non-sense, I want 5 tracks!).

I can't help but wonder why people blame the player for being bored of this game. GT5's online and offline is just too lacking for me to enjoy it anymore, compared to other racing games and even previous GTs that do a much better job. That's all there is to it.

Some players are bored, some aren't, it's the same game with multiple seasonal events, a-spec modes, b-spec modes, licienes, special events, and online racing, so it leads those of us who aren't bored to think 'it's you, not the game'.

I am bored of it too, yeah. The AI doesn't interest me much, and there's very little to create any kind of atmosphere or a sense of occasion in the single player.

I was trying to have good times online but the arbitrary racing and (around that time) latency/controller issues made my mind up. I stopped playing a few months ago and haven't felt much urge to play again. I still come to the news page and forums sometimes though. I guess I want to want to play it :P Things move slow in GT world though.

Buy a new game, doesn't have to be a racing game. Or you can go outside and play football. Life is full of possibilities.

I have been playing GT5 faithfully since it has been out. I am always trying new things so it's hard for me to get bored. Have you master driver without ABS? If not that will put some life in GT5 for you. Makes all the cars feel different.

I was being more or less sarcastice in saying that he wasn't playing it correctly.

Many players simply resort to over powering every car they buy simply to annihilation the competition. Playing the game this way can get very boring very quickly because your never actually racing anyone. The OP didn't give any details to why he is bored with GT5 leaving us to guessing why he is bored.

For me, good competitive racing never gets boring.

buy a wheel, that opens up a huge level of fun and new aspects to the game
getting a DFGT made me fall in love with the game even more, and i havent been bored since (3 months with the wheel)

I have played Playstation games since 1996 and so far there hasn't been a game which has kept my excitement at the peak. Some games I play for a week and never come back but I keep coming back to GT5. Games do get boring from time to time and thank god for that.
