Really glad to hear it worked for youThanks very much for sharing this tune Bowtie-Muscle :-) I had given up finding a tune for this car I could use with my Driving Force wheel. Chasing my buddies just over 101:+ times in the latest 450pp Tsukuba Circuit seasonal, I stumbled on your tune, copied it to the letter and ran a best lap of 102:70! For this 'ol boy that is really good even though I didn't catch all my buddies I'm happy with the time and the place in the world rankings of 741st. Thanks again and keep up the GR8 work!! We who aren't blessed with the talents (or the patience!) to work out a tune really appreciate your efforts!
Glad you liked it, when I use it I keep it in third alot, has power and torque to carry you thru. Hope you used the correct paintCongratulations mate, your `69 Camaro Z28 is a great tune!👍 Its very nicely balanced and predictable! I`ve used it detuned to 450PP to gold the Tsukuba seasonal and had several podium finishes in the Willow Springs 20mile race. At Willow tyre wear was even between front and back, due in part to a nicely set up transmission. It was stable in the long corners and under braking. Even the tight corners at Willow were a breeze, just leave it in 3rd and let the torque do the hard work! Great work!

Glad to hear it is working for you, I really liked that tune and used it a bunch for A-Spec races. You get used to it and enjoy over and over and before you know it, your wallet is filling up with credits. I prefer blue but that green does not look half bad. Thanks for the feedback.Just wanted to say that this is a excellent tune. Almost too excellent. I'm actually tearing up some S-Class races with it in career mode. Incredible.
In fact here's the ZR1 passing the always-tough BMW McLaren F1 GTR on Apricot Hill.
.
Sadly, there is not a true C6R in the game, and like many of the Touring Cars and (PD) LM's in game they are just tuned versions made into Racecars. The biggest and only real difference I see is the amount of downforce. Obviously I have tuned them and will never claim they are the best tunes, but, my 630pp Z06 or ZR1 with flat floor on Racing Hard tires can be competitive in career mode races. The C7 I built is not different, I can only assume if we ever got a C7 Racer, it would be much the same.......a PD Version.I didn't know where else to post this but I thought it'd get some discussion here.
You know I've been playing this game for a few months now and one of my favorite cars to race has been the C6 ZR1 LM Race Car.
That being said, it wasn't until I started reading PD's Beyond the Apex that I realized that it was just a specially tuned version of the road C6 ZR1 and not a real C6.R. This actually explains why a tuned version of the road ZR1 is fairly competitive with the LM version. This is actually kind of disappointing because I know the real C6.R would be a monster in this game.
I wonder why they went that route. Think Pratt & Miller/Chevrolet didn't make the C6.R available for proprietary reasons? Can't bode well for the hope that the C7.R ends up in a future game.
100% in agreement. PD take the time to make different examples of the same Super GT cars and yet can't be bothered with putting any effort whatsoever into some US Chevs. As long as it looks the part, that'll do mentalitySadly, there is not a true C6R in the game, and like many of the Touring Cars and (PD) LM's in game they are just tuned versions made into Racecars. The biggest and only real difference I see is the amount of downforce. Obviously I have tuned them and will never claim they are the best tunes, but, my 630pp Z06 or ZR1 with flat floor on Racing Hard tires can be competitive in career mode races. Another flaw that drives me crazy is the '10 Camaro, there are many Real World versions and obviously I license issue or PD never tried. But why is there no rear wing, or one that can be installed? Looks ridiculous and wrong as a Racecar without one.....just my opinion.
