Bram Turismo's Gallery - Tournament Round 1 before/after -

I remember I was defeated by 440 with similar shot in the final round. Totally speechless.

Yeah, when I saw it, I was astonished so I couldn't resist the temptation and gave it a try with this car but with my own touch :D Thanks franz

Are you getting tutored by 440charger cause your shots are looking just like his

What a wonderful compliment :dopey: Well, in the end, that's were I want to be. Though 440 isn't so active at the moment, I practise with all the tools he uses (smudge, dodge and burn), but practise makes perfect 👍

looking good really, i dont know about some of the reflections though, like if they coordinate with the background if you know what i mean, but in an artistic point of view, it looks so damn good! and i hate you for that! jk :D
i've tried that technique before, but obviously i was doing something wrong coz it didnt work out for me. did u flatten each layer after the blur or did u just keep on adding one after the other each time ? sorry if my question was stupid, but it's just not making sense to me, but i'd love to try it. great update altogether though. not sure how you lost the first round really. hope to see more from you soon.

Do you mean when cleaning with blurs?

Back in the day when I still did it, I worked on the background layer, no other layers at all, just the background layer 👍

Thanks guys

I think it's freaking great, knowing your goal with it, and knowing all your recent work. 👍

Generally it looks pretty damn good, and there are lots of details of the 'don't try this at home' kind, but there's always room for improvement. :sly:

I love the cleanup in gerenal, all the lines, headlight look awesome too, windshield is great (perhaps just a tad more dodge on the reflection), rims look very original and blend very well with the shot, and rear wing looks incredible, ver 3D-like. Also, the scenery is perhaps your best so far, in terms of levels and colors.

I'm not that sure about the rear reflections, maybe a single one fading would've worked better. also, the main reflection on the side could be brightened to make it stand out more and make it look a bit more 'reflective', if you know what I mean. :)

Only other thing is the sort of 'blotting' going on the car's hood, specially knowing it's a silver car, not white (and looking at the original too).

But all in all, you're improving a lot lately (hard to imagine, since you already had such great skills), and getting dangerously close to 440's style. 👍

PS: aren't you posting the 'other' image? :D It's great too, I'd like to see it in yor gallery, every opinion counts.

It's very spectacular! The rework of all lines, all reflections, all colors, all lights... it's all fantastic. As people said, that rework give a chopped feeling as it were a rendering for a cover or art press image. The bling bling rims also looks wonderful due to how you modified them!

Spectacular shot bram! Great location, great car, amazing cleanup and blur! What else could i ask for? Perfect!

Thanks guys 👍

Ford Mustang GT @ New York

Wew, a LOT of work went into this one, maybe too much...I swear I remember my mousing beginning to smoke after 4 hours...For once, I stepped off from the bling rims and went with some BBS rims, though the rims could've been better...I'm happy with the clean up though, I used smart blur for some areas which were very blodgy qua colours (green-grey mixed) so it came out pretty clean none-the-less. Like the colours as well but still lots of space for improvement if I wish to get further than round 1 in the next Tourney :scared: All these hours well spent? Up to you guys to tell me

Work's incredible, but it's a bit deja vu, if you know what I mean.

Car looks more vectorized than the Cien, but I really like the light on the shot, specially the rear.
I usually don't like much of the reflecions being presented as lines that never touch each other, but on this one they seem a bit like watercolor, and that makes me like them, as I'm a painter. :sly:

On the rims, maybe if you brought the brake discs to life a bit, they'd look better, just a thought.

Also, the door handle could be a bit more 3D'd, maybe some dodge on the upper part.

Blur looks good as always, but the Cien's was more 'alive', more organic.

Looks hot again
I think the side GT emblem could look more metallic
also some little jaggies in two places but they are no big deal
great effort bram 👍

Wow, you're near to convert GT4 pics in Illustrator images

Seriously, all rework is very sweet man, you killed every little failiure of the original pic. I've never seen any white Mustang so nice as yours.

Breathtaking work as always Bram:tup:
Those BBS rims really suit the car:sly:, i love how you have blurred the backround, it reminds me of the old Hockenheimring that used to go through the forest before they refurbished it....god i loved that track.

Once again, great work as always Bram:tup:

Thanks guys

Ever since I entered one of my shots in the H2H week 52 comp, I wanted to do another shot at the same location, but with a different car. The comp shot turned out very nice but I expected more from the Alfa, the crappy original pixelation decreased the final clean-ness of this car. I also expected more from the rims as Alex did a wonderfull job on these, oh well...

As usual very nice 👍 A few minor probelms with it but none of which that haven't been outlined by you or Lds. Good luck in the competition, and let's hope when you next time come to the tourney you get your revenge on Moglet .

Pretty please check out my gallery....

Oh man, revenge is so sweet...

I see you improved the background blur tremendously compared to the TVR shot, it's not perfect but is sure does look much more natural, although it could be a bit desaturated, so it doesn't distract from the car itself.

Cleanup is a beauty, probably better that the one I did and I'm using as an avatar ever since.
Don't you love it when the license plate is neat like in this car? It just looks so much better than those jagged muddy letterings 99% of the cars have.

Lines are well made, only one things 'bothers' me; the hood (I don't use 'bonnet', sounds gay ) shut line is a bit thin, especially compared to the rear line of the driver's door. But that's nitpicking, great work.

Rims are pretty good, maybe just needed a bit more definition. But yeah, alex is hands down the best guy around working on rims, I just don't know how he does it, it's just so stupidly perfect!

Great to see another update from you, you've changed your usual cleanup style and I'm loving your recent work.

Damnit, these pics inspire me but i still can't seem to find inspiration enough to start doing photomode again.. i'm all worn out but i wanna do it so badly

amazing shot 👍

The shot speaks for itself, amazing work Bram!!!
Love the camera...and of course great clean up:tup:

Hope to see your work in the next Tournament (it will start later this month):)
