Brands Hatch Circuit in GT6?

I see people putting this track in a "Master" Track list, but I don't remember ever hearing about this track. Can someone please tell me?
 
Here it is, boxart placeholder shown at display at GT6 reveal at Silverstone:

Similar was regarding Bathurst, it was clearly mentioned on the same day on the official PlayStation pages at :

Day later (and today as well) it mentions only Silverstone.

Box picture is from the event and text was published on the Sony official pages.

It is genuine, it remains to be seen will it be included one day.
 
Brands was mentioned on the site? I only remember Bathurst and I just find it odd nobody else saw this art or took a picture.
 
Gameplay or a photo of some leaflet? That's how I'm looking at it. If you were a journo who was there you'd probably be opting for the former.

Yeah but surely someone else would have at least seen it. I've not seen anyone mention this placeholder box art.

Same as GT6 mobile application, it was shown only to Famitsu journalists:

But it does not mean it does not exist.

We should really wait for E3, all this is heavy speculation so far, but it is grounded on evidences.

True, the twitter account on that picture doesn't appear to be anyone important though. I can guess they only showed that stuff to Famitsu because it's maybe only in Japanese at this point but why would only one random guy see this art box?

Maybe someone should tweet him and ask, I don't use twitter.

The thing about creating your own tracks with GPS is very exciting.

I'm also not convinced that is genuine though.

That app interface looks pretty cool, I'd like to think we can do things like tune cars within it but can't really tell from the pics. Just speculation based on a blurry image but they must be pretty confident in their 'premiumized' standards too if they're going to get that screen that the 400R is shown on with iPad resolution. :scared:

Yes, it will. I'm disappointed that more games haven't been using Bathurst. The only game I personally played that had it was Shift 2, and I got sick of the game before I even got to Mount Panorama in the career. I've been wanting it for Forza.
 
I know this doesn't mean anything, as it's just one person's preference, but I'm actually more excited by the prospect of Brands' possible inclusion than I am about Silverstone's confirmed inclusion. I think maybe the two tracks' very different initial raison d'être have a lot to do with it. I hope they add the rallycross layouts, too, not seen those since the TOCA games.

I hope something comes of it, because I've let myself get carried away on this one! :lol:
 
Yeah but "requested by fans" does not mean "requested by you", or me. I'd rather they all came back, but if that were the case the marketers would be making a bigger deal of it than that...

I know it wouldn't requested by one person, but I agree will like to see all GT classic tracks come back.

Ok guys, still one question, is brand hatch circuit mt panorama, or a different circuit? Also when was this track confirmed??????????

Brands Hatch is in the UK, Mt. Panorama (Bathurst) is in Australia. Neither have been officially confirmed, although Mt. Panorama was caught being scanned by Polyphony.

I'm simply suggesting that the selection of returning tracks will not please everyone, "fans" or otherwise. Also that too many people will fail to realise that until the rage has already subsided. :indiff:

Which tells me to expect more than one original track from a previous GT version that several people have asked for. I am thinking El Capitan almost has to be one of them but could be wrong, am also hoping for Seattle. Looking over the threads from time to time over the last 2 years or so I think I have saw more requests for El Capitan than any other track from older GT games.

I surely hope it is there, I miss that track
