now i have to apologise for not making either of the first 2 races.. but i have nothing in the diary for Friday 21st Feb.. so i'm in. Need to try some laps in the wet.. i love RBR in Gr4, but it's a whole new ball game with the wet.
What time of day is the race? (i mean in GTS, not the actual time of day ) because the rain differs dependent on track time
Just been having a crack at the RBR in the Audi. I'm struggling is the long and short of it!
I've never been a fan of this car and avoid it in the dailies. However, being forced to use it in this championship will help me learn.
I've watched Max's hot lap replay again (and again). I think my main problem is using too much throttle after a corner and causing understeer.
I've done a mid 1:56 best lap with a mid 1:55 optimal. BB +4
Edit: put my sectors together for a 1:55.448. BB now at +5.

Same here. I'm struggling. I'm a second off my optimal. If I can figure it out, I'll be in the mid 54s.
I'm not a fan of the TT, RBR, or wet weather racing to be honest. But, it should be a good race, nonetheless.

Took a little while to adjust the technique, but I got my PB down to a 54.8.
Its hella tricky to get the power down efficiently.
Nice one!
I'm down to 1:55.1xx. I'd like to break into the 54s before Friday, but I've only really got Wednesday night to get more laps in.
Boom!!! 54.6.
IRL you can run off line in the wet to find more grip, if you even go a few inches out of the racing line on here it's like an ice rink. There are so many things which PD could've done better with the rain. It looks pretty though. The one thing I noticed would make the wet weather racing better is if you could actually drive in the tracks of the car in front of you like IRL. That would give a little more traction to the car behind but would then risk traction loss when moving out of the tracks.
It’s gonna be tough anyway and I think we’ll be in for a great race

Go on then, the Hamster's game!
I'll get the car painted up.....And hope to grab some practice before qualy on Friday!!
One question, never joined a private lobby in GTS........I have to search for it with the code you post here @Bivittavus88 right?
What a dumb Hamster at times, really!
