@RacingGrandpa @Leftcurl

You two in for the TT race?

now i have to apologise for not making either of the first 2 races.. but i have nothing in the diary for Friday 21st Feb.. so i'm in. Need to try some laps in the wet.. i love RBR in Gr4, but it's a whole new ball game with the wet.
What time of day is the race? (i mean in GTS, not the actual time of day ) because the rain differs dependent on track time

Time slot is 10:45

Just been having a crack at the RBR in the Audi. I'm struggling is the long and short of it!
I've never been a fan of this car and avoid it in the dailies. However, being forced to use it in this championship will help me learn.

I've watched Max's hot lap replay again (and again). I think my main problem is using too much throttle after a corner and causing understeer.

I've done a mid 1:56 best lap with a mid 1:55 optimal. BB +4

Edit: put my sectors together for a 1:55.448. BB now at +5.

Same here. I'm struggling. I'm a second off my optimal. If I can figure it out, I'll be in the mid 54s.

I'm not a fan of the TT, RBR, or wet weather racing to be honest. But, it should be a good race, nonetheless.

Can't blame you, mate. I had a LOT of fun testing fuel/tyres at Monza. I'm really looking forward to that race. Even if it's not going to be my strongest combo.

Just tried a race distance in the custom race feature. Starting from the back with 20 cars. Used GR4 professional.

Total time - 47 mins 19 secs. My fastest lap 1:55.425. I think I had three laps in the 1:55s. One on grass moment cost me 4 seconds, but otherwise kept it on track.

Taking the lead on lap 14.....

i've noticed that different sides of the track off different levels of traction at RBR.. after T1 if you go straight to the right side there's more grip than if you follow the left side - that's helped me get a 1:52.8 anyway (jokes :lol::lol:)

Going to nip out for a smoke, and then open a practice lobby. I'll be running 24 laps straight, as full length runs are something that I didn't do for the last two races, and it definitely hurt my consistency.

Consistency is decent for this one. 21 laps in the low to mid 55s. 2 in the low 56s, and one in the 57s after I completely missed the braking point for the second to last corner.

The one thing I noticed would make the wet weather racing better is if you could actually drive in the tracks of the car in front of you like IRL. That would give a little more traction to the car behind but would then risk traction loss when moving out of the tracks.
It’s gonna be tough anyway and I think we’ll be in for a great race

IRL you can run off line in the wet to find more grip, if you even go a few inches out of the racing line on here it's like an ice rink. There are so many things which PD could've done better with the rain. It looks pretty though.

Go on then, the Hamster's game! ;)

I'll get the car painted up.....And hope to grab some practice before qualy on Friday!!

One question, never joined a private lobby in GTS........I have to search for it with the code you post here @Bivittavus88 right?

What a dumb Hamster at times, really! :D

You should be able to filter the lobby's by "friends only" or something, like that. It'll then only show you lobbies that your friends are in.

I'll post the room number anyway, just in case.
