The fact that the immigration rate of Muslims into the UK is multiple times higher than the non-Muslim birth rate within the UK, which itself is too low to reverse the depopulation trend. Beyond that, the Muslims already in the UK have a much higher birth rate than non-Muslims. The stats were in that video I posted. Apparently this is the new trend throughout Europe and the US.
As I believe was the case with Polish nationals 5 years ago, and Indian families 50 years go. When I get to my laptop I'll try amd reference them.

You can't base trends on limited statistics.

I know. I shared the video for a couple reasons, not just the info but also its negative-sounding spin. They make it sound like a game of Civilization where the Persians end up taking over all of Europe.

I hope the Romanians that come here next year bring their family recipes with them. I will happily bow down so long as they supply me with lots of cozonac.

On the subject of Romanians wasn't there a UKIP councillor who said more Romanians would immigrate and flood the country than there are actually living in Romania? As in he projected higher numbers than the population of Romania.

I may be talking rubbish though. If so ignore me.

I wouldn't be surprised if they did.

I'm sure I heard that around half of all Romanians (over 20 million) would be better off living in the U.K on benefits.

Online pornography to be blocked by default, PM to announce

Every household in the UK is to have pornography blocked by their internet provider unless they choose to receive it, David Cameron is to announce.

In a speech, the prime minister will warn that access to online pornography is "corroding childhood".

Other measures expected to be announced by the prime minister include:

-New laws so videos streamed online in the UK will be subject to the same restrictions as those sold in shops

-Search engines will be given until October to introduce further measures to block illegal content. They have a "moral duty" to block illegal content, Mr Cameron will say

-He will also call for warning pages to pop up with helpline numbers when people try to search for illegal content

-Experts from the Child Exploitation and Online Protection Centre will be given more powers to examine secretive file-sharing networks

-A secure database of banned child porn images gathered by police across the country will be used to trace illegal content and the paedophiles viewing it

Great. So in order to enjoy what you want to in your own home by yourself, you must inform your ISP that you want to see that content, having that mark against your account and your name. Not only that, but creating a "secure" database that will be a goldmine of child pornography for any hacker who will eventually break in.

But the government must protect the children! Won't somebody please think of the children!

EDIT: Good lord, the comments. I think a large part of this must come from people who think that the internet is like television.

So why clamp down on general pornography when it has been clear that it's the peer-to-peer file sharing which is the real danger? As far as I'm aware these 'measures' won't be able to touch that. Measures are already available for responsible parents to prevent their child accessing certain content and sites so we don't need these vote grabbing, knee-jerk Orwellian laws to block the internet for us.

I have kids and am fully aware of the dangers of the internet to the young, but this is just too much and smells of politicians and socially uptight minorities dictating the morals of the individual. I'm not sure what's more dangerous.

I do wonder how they could possibly block all pornography, it's plastered all over the internet, and there are countless adult websites and blogs. Again it's a pain to have something banned which is used relatively harmlessly by the majority just to stop a minority of pedophiles from using it.

That being said, I'm not proud of the fact that I watch some of this stuff, so this could be a way of wearing me off of it.

Why? As long as you're not becoming a shut in or it's illegal, I don't see the problem.

But then again, maybe my "corroded childhood" means I don't understand.

Pornography actually constitutes a small percentage of internet data.

But still, like AT referred to, it's P2P where issues like child porn lie.

I've just always had a sense of guilt about it. Plus, there's always the risk of getting caught.

I watch it, but seldomly. Only because I'm chronically single and it serves a purpose. There's no artistic or pleasurable merit in it.

Where's the shame? It's a national open secret; I don't understand the stigma in something a huge percentage of the population indulge in.

In what appears to be a very public snub for David Cameron and the Conservatives, apparently the Duchess of Cambridge has joined Labour.

What, a long, protracted and intensely painful experience like you've been royally shafted?

I can't believe some members of the general public are sad enough to camp outside the hospital. It's not like the doctors are gonna invite you in to stick your camera in under Kate's gown.

How long have you lived in this country?!?

I demand a citizenship test.

What, a long, protracted and intensely painful experience like you've been royally shafted?

In fairness, for Peter and me, this is the first royal birth since we were born.

We're not used to this level of media oversaturation.

I'm sick of Cameron barking about you guys getting more deeply involved in war in Syria. He needs more than a snub. A muzzle, collar and leash might serve, though he would look better without incisors.

This will be very interesting. If its a boy, its likely the next King of England will be Jewish.
