Is The Game of Thrones considered pornographic? I hope they don't cancel it due to the blue-nosed Cameron and his pals. Heck, HBO employs tons of British actors and actresses to produce that show.
I don't know, but Spartacus: Blood and Sand sure is. And that's violent porn at that - which is prosecutable.

Iwan Rheon sliced off poor Theon's tallywhacker in a recent HBO production of GoT. And this was followed up by the infamous sausage eating scene!

But where do you draw the line at 'violent' porn. Is it simply doing stuff that hurts? Cause anything sexual can hurt if you do it hard enough...

But where do you draw the line
The question never asked by anyone who wants a line drawn.

The answer is at the beginning or the end. Either it's ALL allowed, or it's ALL banned - anywhere in the middle just becomes one man's interpretation over another.

No... anything that involves consent not being given could be considered as violent - and it isn't just 'porn', but other acts of violence (like self-harm, murder, suicide etc.) as well.

It can be hard to establish whether or not consent is given in any particular image - child pornography is an obvious exception, since legally children are not capable of giving consent, hence all sexual acts involving children are assumed to be acts of violence and are therefore both immoral and illegal. There are some obvious examples of violence - like terrorists beheading their victims etc. - that would also fall into the category of material that the authorities wish to clamp down on - or atleast make it considerably harder for unwitting internet users, particularly children, to access.

Actually, stuff where consent is given but acted to appear as if it's not given is considered violent - but only in the setting of erotic material.

So "rape porn" is already illegal, but rape scenes in dramas and films are not.

Caveat: May apply to England & Wales only... Not for viewers in Scotland...

The BBC correspondent reminded us that this child may have to wait several decades before becoming King, and added the caveat "assuming there's still a monarchy, that is"... nice buzzkill there

When they announced a 'new baby royal', I honestly thought they were talking about potatoes.

Breaking News

Only kidding!

Jeez, BBC News 24 are in hog heaven right now, which is probably just as well since there is precisely NOTHING to report. Right now there is some old codger trying to tell us that "Bucklebury used to be an insignificant little parish that no-one had heard of, but now you can go anywhere in the world and say 'Bucklebury' and people go, 'Ah yes, Bucklebury!'"...

:ouch:

And that, ladies and gentlemen, is what counts for reportage in 21st century Britain.
I live a few miles from Bucklebury, my grandparents live in the village next to it, Beenham! Anyway, a baby boy it is :)

Apparently if you push the two Middleton sisters together you might get one. Worth a try I'd say.

Royale sandwich, anyone?

Bring your own mayo.

So, does this mean the duchess might get something resembling a cleavage?

She needs to stand a little closer to the kitchen table for that to happen. Her and Kiera Knightly side by side don't even make up one woman. :sly:

I want a town crier when my firstborn son is borne unto ye earth realm. Could probably hire one in Miami. "OYE, OYE, OYE!"

Anyway, now that they have a son, they should try for at least one girl. Hope mama passes on those looks.

Because all we hear about these days is

The Royal baby, The Royal baby, The Royal baby, The Royal baby, The Royal baby, The Royal baby, The Royal baby, The Royal baby, The Royal baby, The Royal baby, The Royal baby, The Royal baby, The Royal baby.

Who cares if someone had a baby?
It is a baby, that looks like any other and acts like any other.
Having royal family shouldn't matter.

I've always been fascinated with royalty. I love the idea that we can see people held to a much high standard and take the responsibilities to lead by example.

It doesn't always work out so well though

And no I will never be jealous because I believe if they can get there, so can I. Most of the hate is probably class warfare.

The Royal baby, The Royal baby...

So it's actually the media you dislike then? Tbh, I only hear about the Royal baby if I actually go looking for it or overhear something. If you stick to the news channels and media then you are going to get sick of it.

James Hewitt cracks open a bottle of bubbly on another shafting well done.

Cheers, old chap!

For the record, I'm fairly pro-royal but the general news media are odious at the best of times. I can sort of understand this circus though, considering he jumps the queue at #3.
