So the Royle's have had another baby? I thought Dave and Denise struggled with two kids! Oh well, hope to see it on the next Christmas special. :sly:

I'm definitely pro-royal. They're a part of our culture and national identity, and I think it's good to keep the tradition up.

I'm curious, does everyone on here hate the Royal family? Certainly appears that way.

I don't hate the royals. I hate the media oversensationalism that follows whatever they do. I kinda get sick of it.

So a women had a baby after conseption, but because there royals and it may be inline for the throne. We will not here the end of it, come on people, let them have there own time, maybe harry could do something stupid again to move the limelight?

Come on, they obviously knew it was a boy weeks ago.

We're not the United States. We're quite good at keeping things under wraps. We have filter paper whereas the US has a collander.

I thought the cover of today's Sun newspaper was, for once, quite good...

So it's actually the media you dislike then? Tbh, I only hear about the Royal baby if I actually go looking for it or overhear something. If you stick to the news channels and media then you are going to get sick of it.

It is not just on the news.

It is on every single free-to-air channel and every radio station.

I feel like spamming this on the radio station cause they wont shut up about it.

Surely only the nurse performing the ultrasound would have known?

The Guardian website actually has a button you can press to toggle either a 'Republican' or 'Royalist' version of its homepage - the former has no news about the royal baby, the latter is more like every other UK news website. Nice touch 👍

That's awesome. Good timing too, as I was really hoping to see something other than the royal baby. Over in the America thread were talking about how if Quebec were to secede, most of the rest of Canada would say screw it and petition to join the US. Come on over guys, it's fun!

The birth of this Prince has caused my Facebook feed to blow up - half of it being celebrity-worshippers saying, "OMG hes so cute xxx", the other half being rabid Sinn Féin supporters/"skangers" denouncing the Royals.

Australia is going to sack the cricket coach soon.

That's a shame as he had a shout at being your top scorer. ;)

OK, I'm a bit of a Royalist at heart, but I'm starting to agree with other people here about the Royal baby media overload. It's understandable that there will be intensive international pan-media coverage of the birth and announcements etc., but I'm drawing the line at a breakfast time feature on Sky News about ****ing baby seats because Prince William knows how to use one! Prime time national news? Types of baby seats? Really?

Bloody hell, you'd expect that from This Morning. :indiff:

Did they deplete their entire ammo stock with that salute?

I'm sure Britax are pleased with all that product placement. It's no surprise that the royal couple chose an award winning seat though. :dopey:
