Was really enjoying tonight until I dc'ed. Came back in and watched a bit of the racing 👍👍 some really good battles going on throughout the field. Hope I did not cause any lag issues when i left the room :nervous:

I guess i screwed up my time conversion as i think im an hour too late. Oh well ill be on time next week then.
Was room as well.:ouch:

@cunny17 No didn't notice anything mate. There was a little bit of lag in general anyway in my eyes.:irked: Think that's the first time you have DC'd :irked:from a BST race? Bloody shame.:banghead:

I swear I changed my oil so that my BMW wouldn't be slow on the straight line before race 1, made the world of difference when I did change it between races, much quicker in a straight line. Must not have saved.....

Think I did ok in race 2, still feel pretty rusty to the game and hadn't done a fast fuel/tyre wear run ever. Thanks to the guys who posted in the lobby chat how much fuel to put in worked out he perfect amount for me 👍

Slipstreaming is pretty difficult, not sure if that's a good or a bad thing.

Other positives include no lag and that's the worst track out the way immediately

I honestly wish there was something in between real and weak draft:boggled: My cars quick enough just can't make a move on the straight where it's obviously easiest:irked:

Yeah unlucky teamie, the only lag I see was some from Chris but nothing else, is there any draft at all in this game? I couldn't draft anything but they could on me.

Not really with real mate for some of us anyway. I honestly feel it's safer in the long run though, that weak thing catches people out terribly sometimes.:nervous:

It wasn't just that I couldn't draft anything, The maserati and the lexus would actually pull away while I was in their draft, For a kind of indication, I would hit 171mph at most before going under the little lights just before braking wheras in draft I would hit 174mph tops, And its not exactly a small straight :P

Draft is effective around 2 car lengths back. Close you get it generally gets stronger but there's also a drop off when moving out. I don't think its too bad.

Though about coming tonight but i'm crocked after 3 hours football

That dodge did have good draft speed but I see jbs point and we're all in the same boat so...

Footballs 90 minutes silly.:P

How good is it to be back racing again !! Fun fun fun.

Need to get my apologies out again. Sorry to jb for thinking I could take 2 cars at the 2nd corner. Do not know what I was thinking there. Muppet. And to gedi for thinking I could go inside then round the outside at the downhill fast chicane! Muppet x2.

Congrats to my teamie on race 1 win and to R35 in race 2. I was pretty chuffed with my 3rd in race 1 but should have been 2nd. I think R35 thought I'd left the welcome mat out for him at the last corner of the last blooming lap!
Tyre wear doesn't seem to be as bad as GT5 in my opinion.
Anyway, great to be back racing again with you crazy kids 👍

Did 2 hours practise and kick about, then load of people turned up and challenged us to a game. Did a game of around 60 before everyone had to go. Getting a 80+kg irish fella straight in your shin hurts :ouch:

On topic, how was the racing?

Racing was as good as ever in my opinion (results a side):sly: very classy field. :)

Apart from my spin in race 1 and getting rammed by R35 in race 2 had good fun tonight. Dc'd as I crossed the line race 2 so didn't get the replay. I swear that Lexus has DRS or something
Don't worry your position was logged, you finished behind joe right?

Yes, think that was my first BST dc. I was taking turn 4 (big right hand sweeper) the best I had done all night as well :ouch:

Car weren't that good tonight, had chronic under steer that plagued me all night, couldn't get around the corners but flew down the straight. That under steer combined with a front heavy brake bias led me to have massive tyre wear meaning I was even further off the pace than normal
