I lost a lot of time to the corvette I was racing, think it was cunny but not sure as I came in on his gearbox and left around 3 or 4 seconds behind him

I wondered what happened, when i got round turn 1 after the stop I think you were just leaving pits according to track map. PD

Yeh that was me, you and cunny. I think it depends on certain things but I'm not sure what. Sometimes it lifts off for no reason and splutters for a a few metres

My race 2...

Sorry stu for spinning you on 1st corner I was trying to avoid jb.

Also sorry to Skeng 2 laps later also spinning you.

Did you all put the same amount of fuel in? Seeing as though they are different cars, you probably used different amounts of fuel.
Seems we did all need various amounts for some reason I thought tyre wear fuel usage was patched and equal for all.:dunce: Only way is to test individually as to what you can get away with in future I spose:idea:

As usual in's and outs asap for next week please gang especially the non regulars.👍

@Gedi69 Do you need the results for race 2 sent through?

Welldone jb for your win

Good fun again last night , race 1 wasnt easy but i had 2 36 laps in a row and managed to get Joe clean enough in t1 .

Race 2 just didnt have the luck , got spun by gedi and was lucky enough to recover and claim 3rd but it wasnt meant to be and r35/lag got the better of me.

I guess you guys will have to go back to normal fuel/tire wear next season since the fuel is drastically different on the jag and viper (only noticed those two drink extra)

If i didnt have that early spin i would of been with jb in the end and joe would of been in trouble fuel wise

Need things to go perfect next week to try and close the pts gap.

Times for silverstone ?

The fuel thing sucks all round on "fast" imo feels like a terrible disadvantage for some:irked:. Stupid really because the wear is just about right. Will have to see what the fuel situation is like with the S10 cars point taken.👍

Im not really sure how it works time wise, But me and joe pitted at the same time on R2, yet he came out easy 10s ahead of me, and that was without the pit delay thing, If I remember right he said something about running out on end straight but I was in the red myself after putting in a full tank :S

Yup that would explain how he closed the rather large lead I had built up, really is a bit of a pisser nothing we can do now.:banghead:

I put in only about 3-5 litres too little, which would have taken about half a second extra to fill up in the pits. I dropped 11 seconds to JB after realising I had to save fuel.

Can you remember what it told you to put in Joe out of interest? I know you came in a lap or so earlier.:boggled:

I think it told me around 70 litres. After the stop I had just under 80 in the tank, so I probably would have been fine with having 85 litres for the last 14 laps.

It's more realistic though. If each engine used the same amount of fuel per minute it would be stupid. A V8 Viper will use more fuel per minute than a Ka! ;) It is a disadvantage, that is why minimum pitstop times are inforsed in some series :)

How the heck do you inforce pitstop times:dunce:

Could it be the superchargers you guys just added ?

I doubt it is just throwing it in to cause a headache .

Maybe increase the laps for race 2 and have 2 pit stops minimum ?
