Race1:
I was the only one who could slice that Audi Phalanx. Suzuka must be their prime testing zone
3rd place was good had some good Battles with R35 (but at some point you spun out ??) and JB.
=> 13th for Race 2
Race2:
After Testing I realized that an one Stopper isn´t working for me + I thought your way to slow with that strat.
=> 2 stopps for me.
Race started and I didn´t gain anything at the Start. Could hold RP and Carb behind me and made my way up the Ladder. Made a stupid mistake at the Turn before Degner 1.
Before my first stop I was 4th or 5th.
And after that I had some epic Duells with R35 which let me made 1 off my Time costing mistakes at Spoon Corner (so R35 had closed a bit).
I had good pace setting 2:01´s-2:04´s (2:04´s before pitting) all the time.
Also I had good fights with Syjones and DanF1Fan.
After pitting a second time I was behind Carb, Gedi, Dan, Syjones, Seb and R35 behind me with his mighty MP4.
So with an gap of approximately 20 seconds for the last 10 Laps I had do get it perfectly done.
=> 2:01´s 3 times in a row followed by a 2:02.
Syjones and Seb couldn´t hold me cause I passed them quite quick.
On my way to Dan who had a nice gap => I pushed
Could almost overtake Dan but then bam misbraked at Turn 1 which caused me major Time plus my hard earned gap on R35 was almost annihilated.
Could overtake Dan 2 Laps later and my next target was Gedi.
I realized during Race he was on a 1 stop strat => I new he was on ruined Tires
I made up on him pretty fast and overtook him before 130R.
But he countered at the Chicane right after. R35 closed the Gap too.
After me getting past Gedi I pushed again real hard but I raped my Tires extremely hard.
Therefore R35 closed on me and we had probably the best last 2 laps ever. On the Straights he was a tiny bit faster => I had to cover the inside line.
He overtook me on the last Lap at 130R but he couldn´t hold the line => me back in front.
But he almost countered at the chicane. After that I hoped my Ford could hold him behind for the Finish line Acceleration duell
=> final Gap between R35 and me: 0.179 seconds !!
I had a full time job all the way. Had opponents around me the whole Race and had to fight all the Time *more of that please*
That was an epic second Race I was sweaty as hell and two Podiums wow.
I was under pressure because hancoclc wasn´t there but TEAM-Gulf was calm as usual and did a perfect job.
PS: Who has been the one with whom I run side by side through Degner 1 and 2 ?? Nice !!
