Monaro Cup is back for a 1 night mini championship.

Welcome to BST's 5th innings.
Unleash these aussie beasts.. The Holden Monaro CV8.

This will run for 1 night on a monday on the 23rd april at 7pm(BST),There will be 4races on the night on 4 different tracks.

Each race will be a 10 lap sprint(apart from circuit de la sarthe which will be 4) with a 20min qualifying session before Race 1 then reverse grid for the other 3 tracks (There will be a 5 min break inbetween races).
All points will be added together after the 4 races and the winners will be awarded tickets.

TICKETS WILL BE FOR 1ST 2ND 3RD PLACE

Rules and regs

All tuning parts are allowed and aero parts,These beasts will be at max power..Even superchargers!!

Driving aids will be off apart from ABS on 1..so treat these beasts right because they will bite back when least expected.

Tyre wear will be off to make this a true sprint.

Tyres are unrestricted

Damage will be on light and penaltys will be off! so clean racing please.

*Bumping is a part of racing, however intentionally wrecking another car is not, and will not be tolerated.
*With regards to corner cutting issues 2 wheels on track we all know the score
*Any complaints with regards to somebody breaking the rules shall be sent via Personal Message on GTP to me or johnboy1112 and include what I should look for and what lap the incedent happened on, so I am sure to keep a close eye for it.
A first offense will most likely result in a warning, but if the outcome of the race is drastically altered, a points penalty can and will be handed out for a first offense.

Well if people want full lobbys in your lounge for S4 then we need to test this in the monaros.
Toffe has asked about it but not confirmed. Shall i make the monaro bit public to drum some more drivers in?

Anyone noticed another bug thats reared its ugly head?? I was eccused of pushing another driver into a wall in a race lastnight, i thought at the time it was an odd thing for him to do we were in very slow cars and there was no clear reason for him to do it. I recieved a polite but upset pm from him asking basically why JB?? I said i wasnt in touching distance of his car and explained i thought it was odd!?! He checked his replay which showed me ramming him to which i replied uh uh no way. He then put it to the stewards who checked their replays and i was thankfully cleared of any wrong doing as it showed a minor lag jump although i was still knowhere near him??!!?? Neither of us noticed any lag in the race!?!
If you think you may be involved ever in a random incident like this for god sake save the replay without the back up of the stewards clearing my name it would have been near impossible to clear my name yuck!!👎

Yeah I had that with jack last night, I was well clear of jack (car length) waiting to find a good place to pass him then he just got shunted into the wall for no reason then it lagged and me and him were all over the place.

Hehe tractor is super stable must be the big tyres at last its coming into its own it likes HSR i think.

Gedi sounds like that lounge wasnt as stable as we thought can imagine crashes or suposed crashes like we had cause all manner of arguements!!

Think the toads will struggle at HSR. Both the Jags and the tractors are quicker in a straight line. May have to try and hang about until last lap and go by in the turns before tunnel. 💡
