305/1500 right O.o ? If so damn I needs work on that setup lol

Yup, exactly as is. I just ran Transmission Max Speed at 180, had Standard Weight on plus Carbon Bonnet and Window Weight Reduction, plus whatever ballast was required set to position 41 (50:50 distribution).

hello is the btcc still available for more drivers?
The BTCC is currently full, however Rolo is still accepting reserve entries in case there are 'no shows' or people drop out of the series.

I agree mate. I've soiled myself. :(

Tell me about it... that's why it's so heavy. I lost time at the Bus Stop too :sly: Yet, as my times show, stick it round any track with any corners and it's suddenly custard! I may have to put that 30kg back on.. but then it's suddenly even more custard lol... perhaps one that may be too tricky.

The great joy of it being the heaviest car on the grid is that I can cut its power instead without it mucking up the checks. So perhaps -20/30hp depending on Spa?

As Ian says, yes we are allowing reserve drivers to sign up despite the fact we're full. Fully expecting some drop-outs and no-shows this season so I reckon you could still enter 👍

as far as tuning goes. what is allowed I see aero and others are not so may I ask what is? if any is allowed at all or is it just spec?

That VW will go even quicker with a good tune, I can make it go around corners, so I'm sure that anyone else can. It punches far above its specs, crazy really.

You can't add any aero parts at all, and you can't use nitrous. Other than that you can add whatever parts you like to your car, as long as your car hits the right spec, which in your case is 305hp/1420kg. Use ballast and the power limiter if you need to to get down to the right spec. You can tune parts like gears and suspension as much as you want as well, that's free.

Looking like a one-season wonder then! A power reduction looks more likely by Round 2, but that depends on how its drivers go at Spa I guess.

Hey guys I'm doing some tuning and checking out the sedan in a lobby right. I'm at a 2.35.2 right now I'm going for a 34. Am I in the ballpark as far as where I need to be timewise?

Really?! :scared: What tyres are you running on?

Is that offline or online?

You said use sport soft tyres yes? Ballast a 1420 and 305 horsepower around Spa yes?. I'm online in a lobby right now. Dissecting tge car and course. It flows quite well might I add. All if done is transmission tuning and chassis body tuning and badic weiggt reduction and adding to match specs. Nothing else has changed

O thank yu. I'm trying really hard lol
Just make sure that you have the room settings correct, as this can make a big difference to your lap time.

Tyre wear: Normal
Grip reduction on track edge: Real
Draft/Slipstream: Weak

Etc, etc......Check post #1 on this thread.
