I'm using an 135i in Chameleon orange with black wheels - 3 car 'independent' team?

The other guys using the 135i are:

Team: Flower Girls Racing (may change)
Drivers: Joshua1994 & Mcglone1994
Car: BMW 135i (White body, Blue wheels)

priestly-lfc = I think KamyKaze1098 is online in his lounge, so it's not a public area.

If its allowed i'm in.........

ah ok, I thought codes ment you could join the room even if it was private :dunce:

just sent him a FR anyway 👍

Yeah we can team up. Still need a good tune and to work out which parts to fit to get the most out of the power aloud. I'm rubbish at tuning.

Some comments:

This looks to be an interesting championship. You racing rules are completely "common sense" and realistic (unlike some other leagues who make things complicated).

Nevertheless, I have some questions, doubts:

- When are you gonna race? (I'm involved in several championships and host myself a competition close to this one)

- doubts: unless they changed it recently, the system does not permit to control at the same time PP, HP and weight.
- Your first posts mentions some restrictions you can't control. I have bad experiences with that. Human nature is such that if it is possible to cheat without being discovered, a majority of people just cheat. I've been in championships with uncontrollable rules. Some drivers put me on several seconds each laps. I met the same drivers again in a championship were it was impossible to cheat (only controllable limitations). They were far behind me.

We have developed a new way to determine the PP and HP/Weight levels of a car.. ask all cars to get on track with the PP restriction on.. also host joins to show he has a eligible car.. then leaves and changes to HP & Weight limit and enters straight away to prove he haas an eligible car.. :)

as i said previously it will be a sunday night possibly but if it does not suit another night will be chosen..

Are you sure that changing the HP/Weight kicks out all cars which were on track with too much HP or too less weight?

Sunday night may be possible for me, if it is late enough (10 pm GMT would be best for me)

After some more tuning last night, I managed a 1.06.4 in Kamy's lounge. I was chuffed, then noticed his new lap!

As an experiment, I tuned my Integra to fit in with the regs, and was almost as quick straight away, without any setup work!

Yep i tried the inverse. I couldn't get a good feel with the 135i, so my lap time was really bad. I also tried the Focus and it felt better (maybe i am used more to a FF car now :sly: ), but i was also slower.
That said i put a lot of time working in the Integra setup, while i drove the other 2 cars in default setups.

Yes it definatly kicks you if you don't conform to the regulations...
Out of interest, the 1.04 lap, was that with tyre wear on and grip set to real?
And what car?

The integra is very fast, and I imagine most will want to use it, although think we are limiting it to 2 teams per car for this reason.

I have a proposed car list for you guys, all premium, all have aero packages available (front downforce is lacking on the 207 and Megane)
I also propose having the min weight upped to 1250kg's to bring the heavier cars closer to that Integra epicness.

Hmmmmmm... I'm not sure about 1250kg.. Cars lose alot of performance.. but we must have the BMW 330i Welsh

Thats true, should make it more interesting, and not as bland, if theres a larger variety. Me and mcglone already have dibs on the 135i though :sly:

haha Pag wheel or pad? I do hope that everyone knows in Touring Cars theres bumping and shunting left, right and centre lol.. Deliberate crashes WILL be heavilly penalised though

I understand that but, after watching the actual BTCC our GT5 cars seem a lot faster through the bends anyway.
Racing hards being our best tire to match their speed maybe...

But if we made the weight 1250kgs, the Atenza will be competitive, and some cars do struggle to make the 1000kg's limit as it is, it will even out the Integra ordeal I have no doubt, not completely, but will definitely help.

I did think MX-5 but think the Z4 is more suited.

IMO this should definetely happen.

If your restricting cars to 2 per team then imo this is only fair, I would assume the BMW is the heaviest and thats 1264kgs (or 1246kgs cant remember and i'm at work) fully lightend so the lighter cars will be pushing the same bhp but significantly lighter and that will improve their performance.

Yep.

Good to raise the Weight. 👍

That will even the cars better.

And an idea about checking if all cars meet the specs is to order cars to enter track with the 500 pp limit, and once all cars are in, change the limits to meest the Kg and HP limit, without anyone leaving the track.
This way we can check both limits.

No leave it 1000kg or else some us will have to really heavily ballast

Actually you will make me buy another Integra since mine is at 1000 Kg with 1 KG of ballast allready. The Max i can get it is 1199 KG.
Time to spend some money. And get another chip of Chameleon Orange. Lol.

I have tested bmw 330i i did a 1:07,2 but it can go faster for sure. I don't think its possible to go sub 1:05 with it. I ran with 495pp 350hp and 1250kg tyrewear on racing mediums.

To be honest i think that is a very good idea. Integras are very fast and im struggling to keep up but im not giving up ;) This will even out the races and sure it will get crowded for 1st :D ;)

Ok so the weight is good to all you guys... Thoughts about the 305bhp limit (305 due to room limits) ?

Good or bad ? :)

Also.. We haven't even got the rules properly nailed down yet, dates + times can wait :)

Read the first post properly, it says state your interest and you will get pm'd with the dates and to finalise your car + team etc.
