That's a good idea,but I would prefer for it to be closer to a real qualifying.Also everyone has set their car up using the online physics so they will handle differently...

I am also notoriously bad and slow at uploading replays.:P

Also guy's has the time been decided?Any earlier..please?:scared:

Guys,what do you think of doing some replay based qualifications? Reason being...goodness only knows how long PSN is going to be down for. GTWelsh? How about setting a deadline for everyone to e-mail you/upload their replays? Of course, this is just a suggestion

I'm not entirely sure, as I've never done anything like this before, but how could the settings of the car be checked if we used replay based qualification? Surely I could up the power of my car to 400hp and no-one could tell, except for the fact that I'd be doing 1.04's round GVE. Or is there something that could stop this?

I think it's good to limit the number of teams which can use each car. However,
I was the first to announce entering a 135i (back on the 16th April), and yet it I am no longer able to use it. All my time has been spent working on a good setup for this car.

It's highly unlikely I am going to have much free time to build a new car and work on a competitive setup as I'm back to uni next week.

The limit for the cars was announce a while back.
 
One important thing , well not really but the Name Flower Girls Racing needs to be changed to Britek Motorsport
 
mcgloney - I was aware of the car limit, hence why I decided on my car choice early on.
In fact, we were the first ones to confirm the use of the 135i.
 
I know I know , Well i know that i brought the 135i into play, and i think you was part of the second team to choose the 135i. You should be using it. Argue your case man ;)

Actually how many teams/ people are using the bmw 135i?
 
I thought I was using it. I looked at the link GTwelsh posted, and found that the dmax team were using the 135i - I don't recall them even mentioning which car they were using.
 
Sorry guys the confusion is my fault. I had already said from the start that I would be using the 135i as it's my signature car! However I probably didn't mention it on the forums. The no 2 driver for D-Max racing is available though so first come first serve :P

Well I've just spent the last two hours fine tuning my BTCC spec 135i and I can safely say it's now competitive! Just got it into the 1.06's and running consistent low 1.07's round Grand Valley and high 1.30's at Laguna Seca. It's taken alot of VERY fine tuning but we got there in the end!

So put me down as a privateer (unless another 135 owner wants to team up - Kickstart?)

Team: HMSMotorsport / D-Max Racing
Driver: HMSMotorsport
Car: BMW 135i Coupe
Colours: White on White.

Same times with Grand Valley but high 1:30's at Laguna Seca? Im at very low 1:30's with same car. I guess it seriously comes down to how the driver drives.

Ha found the other person using the 135i.

I think there is a 1.29.xx in the 135, just gotta find those extra 7 tenths!
 
HP and BHP are the same i think. There's only little differences.


It might be right. Check other sites?

Actually how comes your looking into HP to PS (Metric HP) ?

Change your system to BHP, set your car up, then change it back, you will then see what the number you needed was.

Also very glad the 135i issue sorted itself out guys, well done for not kicking up a fuss buddies :)
 
Ok, if you're not allowing 3 player teams, i'd like to join as my own team then.

That's fine, we are pushing this now to start asap, and so some small details are either missed out or not 100% finalised, sorry for the confusion.
 
Missed him by a few hours buddy, it was recent lol :/ You can join as a private team, with just you, need a team name car and colour for body and wheels please mate, and then / or now look for a team mate :)

Think there is a couple of teams with only 1 person in atm, not 100% .
 
GTP_Bradders3535 has no team mate

UPSHIFT RACING has only 1 member

SA Motorsport has only 1 member

Think that's it, I may be wrong.

k well if anyone wants a team mate, gimmie a shout, if not i'll sort a privateer car out, jus to check, which civic is it that's already being used by 2 teams?
