I will see what I can conjur up then, although I would probably be more interested in going privateer if I do sign up to this..... will see what I can do first, and go from there......

More importantly right now, I'm looking forward to Sunday :D a day full of petrol head goodness on ITV4 - pure win!
 
ohhh yeah.. can never beat 3 rounds of smashing.. i wish plato rolled every race!

Not trying to go off the topic of this thread, but that was incredible!! To be fair to his team, they did a great job of getting the car ready for the final race too. Plato had a storming race then aswel.

For me though, the Vectra's were my favourite (what can I say, I have Vauxhalls in my blood :) ) but Andrew Jordan and James Nash had a brilliant weekend overall!
 
yeah james nash had a good weekend!.. and considering they didnt get platos car back until after the following support race they done an epic job. windscreen duck taped on haha
 
Its the most slightly off topic thing you could of said, its a GT5 BTCC thread, I'm sure you can talk about the real BTCC xD xD
 
I just wanted to tread carefully with it lol, so as not to offend anybody, it's easily done on this site!

It is going to be a very interesting season, especially with the NGTC, and the Non turbo's all competing..... although if there is a hot summer then that should affect the turbo's and give the N/A boys some bit fo a chance.....

Anyway, off to go see what I can come up with with regards the cars left to play with..... talk later guys :D
 
yeah the turbo boys might lack there.. plato proved his dirty style helps keep them back though

its all about the line.. diff & suspension... iff you like a loose end then you want about 12 for torque and set the suspension hard

i prefer no loss of traction so 5 torque and looser suspension .. works a treat

So in my FF car if I want less wheel spin and more oversteer what can I do??

I like my cars to oversteer a lot. And this being a FF car its more easy to control, so I WANT more. lol :crazy:
I'm still feeling some wheel spin on the outside wheel, so I probably should focus on that. I probably should search the Tuning forum a LOT.
 
You could have too much toe-out on the front

outside wheel spin .. yeah think that's right.

EDIT: Confused myself now xD I had a one wheel going red problem once on the 207, changing toe fixed it and improved cornering a lot.

Which toe it is idk, and it may not even be toe at all xD

But my thing was outside wheel I think, and I changed from toe-out (-) to toe in (+) and it fixed it.

The Focus is very slow on 500PP on GVE in Practce mode and thats coming from me lol.. at best i done a 1:05.673.. Most cars so fa i've cracked the 1:04.9/1:05.1 mark

What did you do with the C30? :/

we're using the 330i which ive hardly touched LOL

ah well worth a shot :) I can't get it to turn in! and it feels puny on the power front :/

which turbo are using? mid gives more torque but on gve you are always in the high range.. also try a spoiler and some negative front TOE .. maybe also some front & rear camber
 
BMW 330i is good for 1:05.7xx on a race pace.. Qualifying setup i havent tried but will be close to the very low 1:05 :)

Do you just adjust the initial torque setting or play with the accel and braking too?
 
i work with all 3 settings but torque is for those starting out.. its all about noticing the diference and you start changing it bit by it i suppose :)
