I'm quite confused about it tbh. We had 31 people then 1 more was added (was that you), I know I havn't updated the site with that.

BUT Phill Bel has dropped out so I guess we do have 2 places anyway so you're pretty much gaenteed to be in :)

It's been the the 135i from the start. It's just that HMS didn't announce it straight away, which led to some confusion earlier in the thread about car choices. At least I hope that's right - I'm in that team!

Sorry dude, I was getting D-Max Racing and Teabagging Motorsports mixed up, for some odd reason! Haha.
 
Because both members of teaBagging motorsport are D-Max members,

(D-Max are the drift team we are in - HMS from the BTCC D-Max is also in the actual GT5 D-Max team lol)

Aswell as MazdaSpeed members lol.

hmmm i just looked at the team tables and me and my team/mate are not on it:

Team Name = FastFreaks
Car = BMW 330i
Colour = York Green
Team Members = Paginas and Mathias_p

Hi Im still in. Im gona miss the first race if its on sunday im in spain then.
But still in for the championship.
Have you tried the 330i yet paginas, i think its a bit slow but still alot more fun to drive a FR instead of a FF.

Oh i saw now the BMW 330i is already taken. If so can we change to Mazda Roadster?

I'm quite sure we have 32 people now and we won't have enough to get another 16 for another race per round. So really any applicant would be in reserve, I imagine some will drop out or not show anyway...

i will drive any car, not botherd just like raceing lol.

Im not sure about sundays at the moment because of another race series i drive in, just depends about times etc
 
downloaded that STCC, was a bugger playing with keys, so i managed to get my ds3 working with the computer, damn its just noobs online

On the plus sde.. i'll use my mates for online evnts such as drift battles and racinguntil i can be arsed getting a new one lol
 
You should postpone that and buy a Fanatec GT2 with standard pedals (just to save money lol)

Then get sim racing ! xD

Then when you do get a PS3 you have a wonderful wheel to go with !

BTCC are at Oulton Park next month, asking me dad if he fancies it, I don't live to far away from there !

Im considering getting rid of my PS3 to , buying a gaming pc means i could play some of the super awesome sim games like the new GTR and other stuff :sly:
 
Battlefield 3 looks amazing too, PC version is BY FAR the best.

Plus the STCC demo has noobs online due to it being a free demo running on a free demo server.

The full game will only have people actually interested in it probably, obviously some noobs still.
 
haha no i bought the full one, had to get that Race07 or something first too, just everyone pit manoeuvring
 
No way lol, Race07 is a legend of a game.
Updated beyond recognition lol.

The AI are good, race them at 100% ;) .

Go to the "Race Room" website, you get a free F1 style car for regestering and the german GP track :)

Another thing is that a PS3 can get a YLOD and it costs a fair bit to get it replaced , a good pc with powerful fans will last virtually for ever :)

Yea but you have to upgrade it every year to keep with the new cpu/graphics/ram etc, it cost me around £300 - £500 a year to keep my pc up-to-date to play games with full spec (i dont do it anymore as i got the ps3)
 
I'm gonna keep an eye on you guys progress.... my TOCA Touring Car Series is a similar beast to yours....
 
If you can run Race07 you can run any game Simbin throw at you untill "GTR3" comes out (if its called that) due to it running their own self built game engine for the 1st time it will have different system needs.

Race07 has many many many mods, GTR-Evolution I got my Race07 with, thats awesome, has the nurb, can get most official expansions for next to nothing as well.

For one PS3 game you can get Race07 with most of the best stuff added on, then you have... FREE MODS... go to nogripracing and regester, mods galore...

Also, you can get templates of the cars for livery painting, use any graphic program to do them :) even paint works :) some liveries are AWESOME.

GTR2 had many GT1 2 and 3 cars, GTR-Evo has more, but lacks some previous, they have been modded over to GTR-Evo now lol.

Tried the Carrera cup earlier, was weird, can really feel the RR layout !

Have the V8 supercars as well, not tried it.
 
I have a Gaming pc worth £1500 lol.. just went and bought Starcraft 2 and some others.. Game doesnt drop the slightest performance while running other crap on my comp.. considering not bothering with another ps3 lol

AMD Phenom II x4 955 B.E CPU - Crappy DDR2 RAM - ATI 4850 Graphics Card - Average Mobo - 1TB HDD


If I updated to DDR3 I can activate Hyeprthreading on the CPU, increasing speed by a good bit :)

My crappy RAM would go and new DDR3 would be faster.

Motherboard would probably be better

AND I could buy ANOTHER 4850 and run both in crossfire.. Hmm the possibilites.

All for PS3 selling money lol

It is cheaper to upgrade your current PC, usually.

Add a CPU and graphics card, will cost £200 for good ones, and will out perform the PC you shown me.
