In that case killa yeah that seems like a driving 'standard' that needs to be looked at. Agree with you on both your points, and not suggesting that I cut the white line at any point.

I dunno, I think that BosZ was taking the normal line, whilst karsten cut the chicane, and therefore when karsten regained the track he tried to regain the normal line in front of BosZ, therefore with him in the way. In my eyes it didn't really leave BosZ much option other than to hit him.

In any case, since karsten cut the chicane anyway I think both moves cancel each other out.

I agree with you 100% that chicane corner chop dive bomb was frankly unacceptable ironic really.👎

as i already said 3 times it was "retailation" after i was bombed out 3 times.

and as i said we're friends and were drinking a beer here real time after 20 minutes past race2.

also the bosz was rammed out badly in r1 by someone... and what then?

i indeed messed the entry, but read all my other posts.

geeky doesn't catch all in video after all.

if there's a problem geeky and morten are stewards, so i accept any penalty given.

i ask not to give penalties to my team-mate instead.

I don't really see the need for penalties with this situation, but then I'm not the stewards.

I have to say I find it odd that with your friend the heavy contact is just a chummy, funny thing to do, but if there's the slightest contact with anyone else there's demands for relinquishing positions and whatnot. You can't have it both ways.

it was his first race online and he got gt5 since a week... so we had a good laugh at it since we damaged noone else but ourselves.

I hope your not planning on these sort of antics everyweek? Eventually you will cost a driver whos racing sensibly its inevitable.:nervous:

Rolo your last post makes alot of sense!!

@johnnyboy
what do you mean?

i don't think i have any crash history to be concerned about after a whole season in the btcc.

@rolo
what was i supposed to do after being rammed out the third time? start shouting "SC, SC!", crying in a corner or start asking around for penalties to be dished out? or maybe as someone did last season just quit the race?

This rammed out 3 times thing you keep banging on about is this still directed at me?? As you continue to conveniently ignore my reminder posts on here about being knowhere near you for these mid race issues. Ive still got the replay so if you would like to point out the laps you are complaining about i would love to take a look. I fear once again however you will choose to ignore this post.:indiff:
As for the retaliation thing you seem to be trying to justify dont you think being a steward means you have a certain responsibility and example to set?

I wouldn't think "retaliation", as you put it, is the best course of action. To me, action happens post-race (if you wish to raise the issue), contacting the stewards, incident reviews etc. During the race, even though it can be very annoying if you think you've been unfairly taken off, you get back on track, start lapping as fast as you can and try again to cut through the field. I think karsten you need to stop hassling drivers with direct and open criticisms on chat, PM, open forum or whatever, and instead contact geeky or another steward and ask for a review. It's been done for one incident already and geeky made his decision.

Also, I know you and BosZ are friends, and it's great that more drivers are entering the series through these invites, but when you're racing I think personal friendships should be put to one side and the rules of the event should become most important. Hassling others seems very unfair when you yourself can be a little loose with the rules.

Sadly, the penalty system in motorsport generally will never help those who were hit to regain their position, but that's just the way it is.

it was obviously directed at my friend the bosz.

I've been voted as a steward or proposed for my clean driving. My place is yours if you want it. Concerning the mid race issue i might have mixed r1 with r2 or you with another audi.

Since geeky already reviewed the race i kept silent considering i was wrong or mistaken with the one i clashed with.

i never justified the retaliation, but it was something like "we're last and second to last and all alone let's have fun" we clashed some more before and after.

i don't see all the fuss since neither me nor him complained at all about each other.

i can take it it was "unprofessional", but i really don't care when we're both last and having our fun.

An eye for an eye makes the whole world blind....👍

I'll take it as a joke and say "if you do nothing when they take your eye they might take the second away too" :D

You can ask any driver you want. I'm the ONLY ONE with joetruck that ALWAYS gave back position even after the smallest tap, doing it while in race and not going away and "maybe" getting a penalty. Ask geeky, jhoetruck and others i gave the position back.

also rolo take your time and check the vids or season 1.. i was taken out in 50% of the races, NO JOKE. Always rejoined, complained and NEVER asked for penalties to those that damaged me.

I think the position should be given back in race. what is the use giving a 10 seconds penalty after race to someone that caused you to lose 30 seconds on lap1?

true no talk about that. Want to judge about just one race out of 18?

also if i'm the most dangerous racer on the grid i can take my leave no problem.

Ive no doubt your a fair and decent guy i was merely defending the accusation you pointed at me.:nervous:

i answered that johnny. It's now grown out of control over general race behaviour and more.

If people think that i'm really a corner cutting, crash into racer, willing to take vengeance at all corners, and that i have no right to complain about any other drivers (wheter in the heat of the race i might have had a little o tunnel vision or misinterpreted the action), i'm more than ready to go.

read my older posts i always apologized when i damaged someone like in r2 when i had people diving into the inside while i was closing my track line over and over.. it happens, i apologize. penalty? i'll accept it no problem.

in r2 someone cut the foam blocks rammed me out and while i was re-entering i damaged someone else (i guess an audi), did i complain or ask for penalties?

i just complain too much when people with way faster car push the inside to overtake immediatly when just waiting a corner would have been smooth and easy; but hey it happens! it's racing after all. If just voicing it is such a big deal, be sure i'll keep my mouth shut from now on.

That was sarcasm by the way, you gambolled me into next week. I'm not judging anyone on one race, but if you are going to pick fault karsten you have to be prepared to accept its give and take and your not so innocent yourself.

Also at that point, kk's weaving gripe is evident. I was all over the shop trying to get a slip off karsten into t1 leaving kk floating around like the last bloke always does when your doing the conga.

i did get the sarcasm someone interpreted it as a way to blow on the fire mate :D

" I was all over the shop trying to get a slip off karsten into t1 leaving kk floating around like the last bloke always does when your doing the conga"

can you translate this to me? i'm not a natural english speaker... ?_?

I like blowing on fires, it's fun waiting for the bang.

Basically, kk and a few others don't like the weaving on the long straights which is an attempt to stop people getting in a slipstream and overtaking.

weaving to not give someone slipstream is different from weawing for not letting one pass throught right?

or what do you guys mean?

Think that was me. And yes, you did :P (if people see fit I'll take penalty for that.. and once again karsten sorry if you feel I gained unfairly there)

I appreciate your fairness as a driver and have no negative feelings towards you. I also recognise I wasn't around in S1 so I only comment on events I've been in.

Personally, if I feel I have gained unfairly and it's clear who I disadvantaged, then I will give position back. I just feel that if you consider that me, or anyone else for that matter, has not done this, then perhaps you could deal with it in a different way to openly complaining/criticising the other driver involved. I don't know about anyone else, but personally I find it a little disrespectful. That's all. :)

in my experience it's been more to do with avoiding slipstreaming, which I don't really have issue with. I just follow the car in front.

If a car is right up behind another though I think if there is defensive weaving it should be looked at. I've not really seen any of this though.

it's because we had lots of issues and no penalties in season 1. i just give my opinion in the hope everything wil get better next time. and in the same way i take critics concerning me.

i just wish for all to grow better not to give penalties around

me too... we had just an unfair move on a straight once iirc.

even with the best will in the world, we can all brake a little too late or have an unfortunate spin :)

I don't think we have seen any cases of that :indiff: But I would say it is different.

:)👍 totally agree

Thanks 4 the Audi Geeky, but Cunny shot me one already!

dang, you can keep it anyway if you want
