Would be nice to know what triggered it

I can remember cunny17 rejoining before the fast sweeper, and then I misjudged going around him, hit his rear and then went off myself. That may have been it, unless there was something else around the lap.

Would be nice to know what triggered it

I saw a crash on the track (or what I believe was a crash, I too only have the track map to judge from), and not knowing it was the final lap, I went out

And I take full responsibility for the carnage at R1 restart

That will be confirmed soon,

I'm sorry if anyone felt offended by the last SC :(

I think we all understand your point of view Rally,
You saw 3 cars of and choas and you reacted with the Safety Car :indiff:
It is the only wrong one, I'd say you did EXTREMELY well around this track.

I wish to tell Polyphony Digital, PLEASE RENAME THIS TRACK;
I want to call it THE REAL GREEN HELL

I think it was me vs Sc as I said in the room.

I was on his outside in T1 but I seen the gap was vanishing so backed off and went to his outside into T2 to try get a run onto the straight but then he braked quite alot. (I don't need to brake for T2..)

So I ended up having to try not run into him by swearving to the inside but I'd allready commited to the corner and was going too fast to hold it on the inside I knew I wasn't going to be able to avoid him :(. (I did hope I'd cleared him due to the speed he took the corner though but seems that wasn't the case :ouch:)

I didn't realise he was going to slow so much into T2 and was expecting to fall in behind him, I'm really sorry to him but it was a racing incident :nervous:.

Besides that it was a good race, passed everyone cleanly while they in turn gave me space and didn't do any divebombs. Also in race 1 the guys I lapped were very courteous 👍.

i apologize for leaving the track on R2 but i felt that if i kept racing in the distress i was iwould have damaged other racers.

Concerning R1 sorry cap, but at the SC restart there was a mess because people had no clue if the sc was in or not and i had to brake on the straight and suddenly all got regrouped around me at turn one.

for what concerns R2 i'll just keep silent.

SC then bounced off the barrier back onto track, nudged me wide into barrier and back into himself. I then rejoined and the rest is history. Wrong place wrong time.:yuck:

I understand, we have all proberly done it :indiff:

Very unlucky mate, :guilty:
Like the video in an earlier post with the Safety car being hit

ICS plc have a space free for a 3rd Ford if you're interested? (if that's good with Rob)
Yeah that's fine, and fantastic work with the tables too, we needed something like that :)
Even tough we are not even close to the end of seson 2. Maybye we should change the starting day to Saterday. Some peeps think its a god idea including me. I mean, Frday nights and stuff. Ya know what I mean.
No.

I'm going to have a rant now!

Karsten said the results of these races would be determined by crashes, and he was largely right.

Before race 1, the pit window was 10-14 laps, but then it magically changed to 9-11 laps, so I thought "fair enough, I'll remember". (even though I'd been used to the 10-14 pit window in the little test race I did)

Anyway, I didn't remember. I crested the hill at 130mph on lap 11 and suddenly remembered I had to pit. I thought about it for a split second but couldn't react quick enough and I ended up in the wall, going from 2nd (almost 1st), to 5th :ouch:

Why change the pit window for seemingly no reason?

In race 2 I was on the receiving end of a questionable overtaking move which might have worked cleanly if I moved off my line a little bit, but I ended up 7th. Tough luck, my fault really... but what confused me (and everyone) was the safety car coming out on the last lap... what's that about?

In fairness I think the safety car is a pretty pointless complication, I'd rather be racing Morten than following him around at 40mph

Hope Deep Forest is better

Once again, great work with the tables rolo 👍

A briliant Chevy Cruze was wrecked in that, I cried so much :(.

I seem to remember in the week the race was scheduled at 23 laps, with the window between 10 and 14.

SC would better if it pulled in the pits when leaving the track and parked up at pit exit (actually in the pit lane side of the track), I feel.

Wait till you hear that they're leaving the championship, :( Very upsetting as I met Rob Huff at the autosport show and now this... IN THE SAME YEAR as well :scared: I feel guilty now :guilty:

It was changed as I made a mistake in working it out, I am very sorry :indiff: I remembered as my mum went on the only laptop so had to work it out again and that's why it changed.

We will note down that of where the Safety car should be as well :P

I thought pit window was 11 to 13. Can't remember race 1 but race 2 i pitted lap 13 :ouch:

If you gained an advantage you may get a penalty out of fairness of everyone :grumpy: But I understand your mistake, I usually do it when everyone else does :sly:

Allready heard it about 3-4 weeks ago on Touringcartimes Geeky. It's worse when I delved into why, apparently they are going to be sponsering Man U football team in the near future. (2015)

A chevy badge on footballers! :banghead:

I'm all for that 👍

I heard it same time as you, just we said about them :)
BUT SPONSORING MAN U :yuck: A disgrace :yuck::yuck::yuck::yuck:
:grumpy: That would be awful, and it would give Chevy a bad name.
KEEP THEM IN NASCAR IGNORE THE ENGLISH FOOTBALL, leave ford to sponsor that :sly:

I meant change the day for season 3

This guy cheers me up no end!

Makes you feel proud to be a member of the championship doesn't it :D,

Zedman, I will see what I can do for you but it has all been fine on Fridays for all drivers (except you) and I do want to find away of squeezing most people in :nervous:

In the series, am I right in thinking that if you disconnect or leave after the race has started, you are classified in the last positions?

So in R1 johnboy would be 14th, while R2 karsten would be 14th and gedi 13th?

Do they still score points?

You gain no points.
It is classed as a DNF, a connection or PS3 fault is like a Mechanical Failure in motor racing.
But you do start first in the next race :sly:

Hi there,
it was a tough race in R1, and I made a mistake: I remember 3 laps to the end I had the good idea to have a breath of freshness and observing the glorious nature (eg. I put a tire on the grass), so I fell 4th.

R2 was tougher, the "mixed-beans" (means "fagiolata" in italian slang, that's like a massive chaos on 1st curve, with pistons, tires, fire, demons etc etc :D ) put me in rear positions, then it was a climbing race...but it was funny also.

I expected more sweat from my face, but it was funny afterall.
