Plan to do some Grand Valley East today if this darn flu lets go a bit! Will note some times down:idea: So are Team V8 Turbo back then?

ooook tested half of the night with the vectra at grand valley speedway (we had time from the preceding race to compare and were "warm") with captainhelmet.

the results:

fastest (if you can call that fast) 2.08.2 from the cap, that seems to have got a little extra on the car, i got a best at 2.08.6.

after the first flying lap the tires degrade to 2.09 and stay there for a lap before falling down to 2.10-2.11.

the car is way too unbalanced under braking due to the 65/35 weight distribution. the lack of front aero is a big hindrance (like on the volvo s60, damn you PD!)

will run some other tests, but seems _EVEN_SLOWER_ than the volvo

Told you it was hard to keep up missing a few hours yesterday was costly. There was basically no time to test the cars properly as they were being snapped up so fast, i just took a punt on the Audi in the end.

Will do today and i plan to set the Vectra up and get the best out of it i can. More weight to shift the balance along with more bhp could be the way to go.💡

Thats true, there really shouldn't be much difference to the S2 cars and S1

Driver retires from BTCC

Ebay Motors driver Rallymorten, who was involved in a heavy accident in a show event, is back in good shape. However, he is once again the subject of a shocking head-line.

"I'm hereby confirming that I will not participate full-time in BTCC Online Championship Season 2".

He claims that it partly is because of his current situation, sitting in s**t to the neck.

"As I told the series organizer, there is a chance that I'll be tackling a few races, only to pull over and stop completely when I see certain people in my mirrors".

it has nothing to do with a specific person, that I can say, it's the whole package.. I admitted I commited an error and excused but 1) most of you seemed unable to move on and 2) to me it doesn't look like my excuse was accepted at all.

i don't get what you mean i just pointed out that in the rules is stated that if you cause a damage to another racer by pushing him wide or through too much aggression you should give the position back.

I understand, but like I said, I realized I was blocking too hard (though, give me this, there is more than 1 way around a car), I don't need to keep being reminded of it by (almost) everybody here and fell like a total dumb.

Ok just done a test on GVS.

Audi = 2.05.9 top speed before brake 139mph.
Vectra = 2.07.7 top speed before brake 144mph.

Has the basic speed so would maybe do a little better at the likes of Monza but show it too many corners and uh oh.

Didn't get a response earlier, but I am interested in racing for season two. I'd run the Focus if there's a spot open for it.

As I am unable to find a safety car driver, I will be allowing 2 independent drivers, this means you can;
Alfa and be part of a team
or
Ford focus and be independent

After having cooled down (and hoping everybody else has done that too) I wish to reapply if you'll permit me I can works as that wanted Safety Car (I have 4 or 5 of those )

And without pointing this at specific people, I'd like to quote 2 famous sayings:

1) Don't throw with stones when you live in a glass house
and
2) Sweep of your own house first
