Right, despite missing confirmation from Geeky I think we need to agree on the tracks to use. The rules are you will give 10 tracks points after the FIA points system. I'll then plug them in on my Excel sheet and by September 29 I'll give the results. The 10 tracks with most points will get to the season with the schedule being decided by the hat-and-paper method

Grid now FULL. Check here for details of the line-up. Reserves can still sign up throughout the season.

JoeTruckV8 just has to select a car. If he chooses to be independent then rabbit_9-8 will also be an independent (unless rabbit wants to team up with him).

As for tracks, why not just post your preferred calendar (10 races) and have the vote on that? Simply tally up the circuits and the ten with the most votes become the calendar. So much simpler.

That gave me an idea:

Change of track-selection rules:

Post the 10 tracks you'd most like seeing in S3 IN ORDER, so your favorite is number one, second to favorite is number 2 etc. The tracks will then be given the FIA points in that order. In the end, the 15 highest scoring tracks will go to round 2 where you'll have 4 votes and the 10 best will be the tracks used. Schedule will be made by hat-and-paper :)

OK, that's workable (if you skip the second bit), do you want me to keep score or are you good?

Sports: Soft.

Cool, well we need a reserve for our Audi team, or you can be a reserve for one of the Mazda teams. 👍

Looks like I'm a reserve!,

Well I have a Mazda already set up to these regs from a previous series, however I notice V8-Johnboy was added as part time?

Ideally I'd like to be a reserve with the higher chance of track time so is that going to be the Audi?

Hard for me to say - I suppose if you wanted you could fill both jobs, and perhaps if both teams need a spare at the same time one of us could look elsewhere to fill the other place 👍

johnboy could always twist the arm of a V8 driver :P

I'm good. Got the Excel file set up already. So, just to remind, select your 10 favorite tracks and give them in order. I'll then plug them in and by September 29 I'll give the results.

bosz might start missing lots of races during the season for he's a semi pro guitarist and has wi-fi problems lately :D

it's a hardchoice ytou can't tell in advance who will allow you to race more times. remember that in any case you can enter the races as indipendent if the grid is not full.

October 13? That's miles away, don't we want to get S3 going? We could probably have everyone's votes in a week.

Well I'm cool with that if both teams are? - well I'm cool with whatever along as I can race!

What day/time does this series run?

Also what spec does the Audi run so I can build a tune for it?

Thanks :)

I'm cool with that.

Fridays at 7pm (our time) - add Geeky30 on PSN.

It's the Audi S4 '03, and it's 305hp, 1400kg, 490PP, Sports:Soft. How you get there is up to you 👍

My picks (in preference order):

High Speed Ring
London
Grand Valley East
Deep Forest Raceway
Monza (Change Weather - 50% Wet Race)
Indianapolis - Road Course
Special Stage Route 5
Nurburgring Type V
Autumn Ring
Suzuka Circuit

Type V? You sure? Oh and if you don't put them in preference order I'll just list them by the order you put them :)

Hell yes. :dopey:

I'll probably be outvoted by a mile on it, but what the hell, it's a democracy 👍

What's your calendar morten?

I'll edit the preference then.

If I must, my preferred are:

Grand Valley Speedway
Autumn Ring
Laguna Seca
Monza
Nürburgring GP/D
Nürburgring GP/F
Clubman Stage R5
Suzuka East
Indy road
Deep forest

Noting yours down now :sly:

OK, quick split standings:

High Speed Ring and Grand Valley Speedway have taken the lead.
Autumn ring takes 2nd (the only track to have 2 votes :dunce: ) with London, Laguna Seca and Grand Valley East just behind :)

Any news of team names for Geeky's team, skeng's team and rabbit's team?

Is it possible you could post the actual points rally? So we know what the score is.

No probs:

HSR: 25
MZ: 22
AR: 20
LO: 18
LS: 15
GVE: 15
DF: 13
NGD: 10
IRD: 10
NGF: 8
SSR: 6

trial mountain (no one voted for it so far!?)
Suzuka Circuit (change weather -50% wet race)
Laguna Seca
Deep Forest Raceway
Monza (Change Weather - 50% Wet Race)
Special Stage Route 5
Cape Ring Outside (if it is the name of mirrored version of the one we raced this year withouth the crazy convoluted part)
Grand Valley Speedway
Nürburgring GP/D
High Speed Ring

also why no nordschleife? I would like a single 40 mins race there (instead of 2 round of 20mins) with dinamic wether and lights it would be great and a wonderful spot for the series

If the nordschleife is allowed i place it first PLACE

As a side note, I think the tyre wear vote has a result now.

Wear and pit stops stay on for Season 3.

Yeah!! 👍 Gives a sense of realism and would ruin the series for me without it.

I put Type V, which is basically the same 👍

But I agree, it would be good 'grand event' :sly:
