Enjoyed watching you guys, some decent racers in this series.

Not my best set up and a track I'm not a fan of so didn't really do myself justice :/ , looking forward to racing with you guys again.

Question tho, are there teams in S2? Was surprised not to see teams colour schemes so thought you all might be independents?

Not included yet. Possibly if everyone wants them/has them.

I wouldn't mind a bit of Spa myself, but Geeky needs to confirm if DLC is allowed.

btw why so much love for tsukuba when lots of people complain of aggressive racing and crashes?

Since you guys use a reverse grid based on pts how do you organize the grid for the 1st race

Reverse Season 2 championship order, with any newcomers put in reverse order of sign-up (i.e. last to sign up starts higher up) 👍

Since Melancholy is the only newcomer I imagine he'd be on pole by default.

Normal quali session may be the best way.

Normal qualy wont work because reg changes messes up grid order. Thats why most GTP series with diverse regs have qualy during the week...

Qualifying would be a bit of a pain to do with the way the game works - grids wouldn't line up properly, so the only way to do it is to get people to run in the week between races. For that you'd need someone to watch etc.

Besides, it's that little harder for drivers near the back to get any good results if the fast guys always start at the front.

Personally I like the two-race format.

One race mode could balance qual results if one is smart to manage consumption. For quals could be done 15 min before a race and then you obtain grid orders like we always done.

What's wring with the quali system?

In our BTCC series (we ran same regs but with RH's) we had 2 races, 15m quali session with grid order fastest first, first race was a short race (6/7/8 depending on the track), when that finished we changed the grid order to reverse grid for feature race (12/13/14 laps, again depending on the track) but with mandatory pit. Both races had tire wear on.

We never had any issues with the grid being wrong tho?

the grid is ok until some smartasses start entering and exiting the room or start changing their setup. then it messes up and people start in wrog positions

You also need to carry out the car checks dont forget, the current way is the only way to do this 100% naughty free.:sly:

Ah ok, although surely that only effects the people who join late/who exits the quali session? They start further back as they won't have posted a time?

What do you mean exactly?

Bhp/drive train are set so that's not an issue, the only variable is weight, no one is gonna add extra weight to there ride as there only gonna penalise them selves?

1400kgs join the quali session first at regs of 305/FF/4WD etc, then one of the 1200kgs guys lowers the weight to 1200kgs then everybody else join, nobody is allowed to exit quali during this period so know body should breach the rules?

Ill let you decide mate , i havent thought of anything good
