And the best is yet to come...we are making now a documentary about "a day in Scuderia Fronzini factory",where finally you will see behind the scenes of one of the most winning (?) team ever existing in btcc history.
 
Guys.. what are your opinions on expanding the series to two lounges?

I've been pondering the idea for some time, with various ways of doing it.

Remember this is just an idea, nothing concrete at all.

If the possible expansion keeps the series as is, then it's simple. Those drivers who are odd-numbered in the championship (1st, 3rd, 5th etc) would go in one lounge, and those who are even-numbered (2nd, 4th, 6th etc) would go in the other. It would keep it varied each week, keep it as fair as can be, and hopefully would mean a good chance that one person will race everyone else at some point.

There's still enough cars to go round, even if we maxed both lounges. 8 cars, 4 spaces in each.

It really depends on what system we might employ for the two lounges, if this proposal were to go ahead.

e.g. If we split the series into Class A and Class B (which has a different, slower car list - which I've already nailed, I think), then the lounges would always be separate, with different drivers, but we could possibly have it where Class B drivers have an equal chance to win the overall title as Class A drivers (i.e. same points systems in both classes which are then put into the same table). It's what the real BTCC did in the late 1980s. This idea though would have to wait until Season 4 or even 5 before it happens.

I know it's only early S3 but I've been thinking generally about what we could do to spice things up in the future... I guess the simplest idea I have is just to make it three races per meeting instead of two.

2 leagues is a good idea (providing you can fill them both),

personally I think at the end of the season there should be a qualifying event with people who are intrested in racing (split over 1 or 2 nights so everybody can take palce) then the top x amount in div 1 and the rest in div 2. At the end of the season you would have relegations fron div1 and promotions from div 2.

V8's tried that in S3 and it was good at first untill ppl drifted off which left 4 ppl in each group so ppl got even more board.

I was told you'd quit! That's why I moved! Are you still in this or not because I took you out of the series?! There's still one space but you'd better be quick!

If you're still in I could always back out and we can re-team at Invicta, and maybe kartman could pair up with gedi?

That's the key issue really... would numbers drop enough that we'd have to lose the other lounge anyway.

If the two lounges were Class A and Class B (with different cars), it would effectively be two championships rolled into one, which may keep the interest up for longer maybe.

Yes the loss of people is sad :(

I believe this is because:
  1. The Online Problems
  2. No Videos (becuase of the reason above)
  3. No real results :(
  4. The Championship has lost momentium

Hand the job of doing results over to people who can steward and get them out quickly? Like me and maybe gedi, killa, johnboy etc?

I gotta say I don't think this championship has lost momentum at all. As far as I'm concerned it's going strong. The cars are equal, the penalty system is better, we do actually have one or two new drivers possibly in the wings. Drivers come and go and it's a shame.. sometimes real core drivers like Rob or cunny.

There are problems of course... my biggest gripe is drivers going AWOL meaning we don't fill the grid each week. If you're gonna miss events give us notice!

Personally I agree with this, there's only been 2 rounds and we've had quite full grids in both rounds.

As for stewarding if people can't do it I'm more than willing to help out as I'm on the PS3 quite a lot of the time........
 
killa's having some issues finding the time to steward, he was telling me.

I'm joining the stewarding team from this week so hopefully that will help.

I'll keep that in mind priesty, you seem to have the perfect attitude for the job 👍
