• karsten_beoulve moves up to 2nd in the Independents' Championship, thanks to his double win

Race Bans:

No drivers have been banned from racing at Special Stage Route 5. sc61jgw and gedi69 currently have the most penalty points - both are on 4.

Love those stats rolo, I actually started something similar a couple of months ago but abandoned it (typical me)

Surprising how many drivers there have been, I thought I'd be further up on the finishes table but I suppose I've had 3 retirements

Just run the Mazdaspeed Atenza '05 for Season 4. Thanks priesty for getting that for me 👍

I have to say, out of the 5 road Atenzas/6s in the game, this is probably only the 4th best (only the '01 Concept is slower). It doesn't feel like a 4WD car at all to me, more like another FF. I don't really see the need to put it in when there are 3 faster Atenzas out there.

I'm also gonna remove all cars that aren't competitive at 305bhp. I don't wanna see two sets of regulations really. The series is pretty well-balanced, and I don't see the need to upset the apple cart a massive deal.

The Audi I'm still not too sure of... whether it should be kept or not. I'm gonna properly set up a '98 model and run it to see what happens. But generally, so far, it's been about 2 seconds slower than the one we use.

EDIT: In the '98 S4, my best at Deep Forest was a 1:22.2.. the S4 we use is capable of 1:21.0 and other low 21 times. Not worth it in my view. If the '03 S4 goes then it won't be replaced by another 4WD car.

I also think there's questions over the Honda Accord Euro-R, Ford Focus ST170 and BMW 120i... they just don't feel as fast as the other, similar models around them.

I thought about checking the S1 points when I was doing the stats... but it wouldn't have counted poles, or the fastest laps that were never recorded... and besides, it's a bit late now should the results have been wrong

Erm... I imagine Geeky will wish to hold on to power with an iron fist (which I don't mind... I mean nobody's forcing him out)

If I was going to, then I'd rather have a V8-style situation where there is more than one host... because I couldn't ever guarantee I'd be available each and every Friday. I'd do the running, but I'd need a mate to help out.

It could be worth trying though... I mean if I was in charge of this thread (OP, thread title etc), then this series could well thrive a little more. It probably puts off some drivers from joining.

That's what we've got now really... there's the godfather (Geeky) and the person who does all the important stuff (you)

Those stats give me some motivation I'll try not to miss any races next season because temporary retirements have been my downfall

I've ran laps but not many, have to say they've all been v messy so far so I need to put some time in here as its not a track I run on at all.

I was doing 1:39s (I think) but I know there is a maybe at least 2s to gain on that as I ploughed into the wall lol
