Johnboy; you can have a reserve :)

Thankyou all for putting on a great show, we all enjoyed ourselves and it makes me feel good seeing everyone so happy :)
Race highlights are being done now so should be up tommorrow or very soon :)

And I just sit here and wait for Geeky to make the highlights, DAMN I WANT TO RACE! :)

I can tell you that it went "okay" for ebaY motors. A 4th place in first race and a 3rd place in second race :)

Very soon please :D:tup:

Good work Julles and Ebay Motors.

Really would have wished I could be there but these weeks it's too late and too lengthy :(

I would prefer 10 laps on old nurb at night with rain an slick tires! :D

Yeah, yeah, you have to say that :sly:

Oh i want to remark the clean races. Beside someone ramming me on the wall at the start of race 1 and a few light "lag" contact. All seemed cool and cleanm

I could just complain a little of a racer that tried 3-4 times to crash on me in race2, but i guess it wasn't intentional.

I had simular problems with some drivers, but I noticed that its really even so you was able to catch up

Yeah the race lenght helps.

Btw on suzuka est there's going to be at least 6-7 lapped racers... Are we sure we won't race on suzuka full?

I think that the east course will be more interesting, but if other drivers want to, I'm happy with that :)

Oh thinking about it am i the only one consiidering racing 12 cars in suzuka est a destruction derby?

Not at all, it will just require patience. You can't attack in every corner because of the track's nature.

Prime spots will be out of the last corner - dumb to attack into it, but if you make sure to get a good run out of it you have that long start finish straight to draft and make an easy pass before you head into Turn 1.

A bit of patience and some pressure into T1 and you can force an error - its a tricky corner given th high speed entry and the fact that you have to brake while going around it. Very easy to understeer wide.

Again some patience there and make sure you get a good run out of it and you can head into the first esses and take the place.

Around the esses you are better off tucking in as you're gonna need massive amounts or more grip to make anything stick through there.

At least that's how I see it.

I'd have thought that if you risk a move on the outside you might get collected given the understeering nature of the FFs and what not.

Patience will pay off!

Enjoyed that, nice one Geeky. 👍

First time I'd driven the Ford was in qualy and I'l say now, it needs some serious tuning. Massive understeer throughout the races.

Can I just ask people to calm it down a bit in the first few laps. I know that contact is allowed to some extent but it doesn't mean you have to barge through and hit people off the track.

You showed some good pace in race 1 mate.👍

Did someone say racing pictures?:drool::drool::)

There was no way I could keep up with you working through the field on Race 2. The 10HP penalty for being rear wheel drive made it tricky as the only advantage I really had was in corner speed, come exit the 10HP and typically much lower weight of the other cars just let everything breeze by again. By the time I'd worked my way up to 4th I was behind Joey and Julie.

Was simply in awe of your pace in that Integra. Had I not offed myself I wonder how long I could have held you off, probably not very long, given that you were easily lapping 0.5s faster than me!

Wonder how the Integra will fare around the more understeery Suzuka... But then there's that massive long S/F straight where all advantage will be lost!

I noticed the fords were fast in a straight line, but not so good in the corners. And the volvos if no one likes them maybe the can be subbed out for the volvo hatch backs in the dealership. I believe they are a little lighter in weight. All in all it was good to see the top be a fwd, rwd, and a awd fighting it out!

I echo what Tyrrell says i did message in the lobby that people need to be a little more patient those first laps were a real war of attrition!:scared: 15 laps is a long time bare in mind you wont win a race in the first 2 but you could probably lose it for yourself and worse for someone else.💡
The Integra felt awesome around A/R once i settled into a rythem it was a dream to drive have to admit spent a good few hours getting the setup just right dialing out that understeer took some work!!
Zorrin you looked very good in the BMW and i was more than relieved that you made a small mistake (race1) which made passing you alot easier. Imo to pass you clean would have taken a good few laps maybe killing my tyres which did need managing towards the edge of each stint. Joe also showed good performance in the Audi i think along with Julles in his BMW. All in all great evenings racing well done to everyone that showed up and finished with points (everyone happily) See you at Monza love it there.👍

Thanks for the pics, I'm still quite mad at my mom because I may not race at that time :(

I have an s40 so i've grown something to the car :D

it needs some serious tuning tought... if you guys can check the replays you'll see whan massive braking advantage i had over tyrrell for example, and how well is was performing in long sweeping corners. it just misses the punch on straights... i think i was losing 0.3-0.4 just in the finish line straight!

I already was prepared for a 1st lap dog-fight, after watching the you tube tape of Autumn Ring from last season'

Just saw the video, nice comeback Julle!

So would we have succes ballast a little like real BTCC?

it was dicussed, but I think we all forgot about it last night

I think we enjoyed it and was fair without it, I think we should keep it simple ;)

I'm sure of it mate but i got it too late for race and haven't been online on ps3 so fart! I'll give u feedback asa i'll try it!

John I felt like I had the pace towards the end of the race, I'd cleared a big enough gap from Joe's Audi that I didn't have to be defensive, but I'm not sure if it was your tyres, traffic or a combination of the both.

I think Suzuka should be more favourable to the BMW because hopefully a big enough gap can be generated through the Esses. Certainly interested to see what the effect of Success Ballast will be as well.
