watched replay of race 2 lap1. i have to say that the replay is quite different that real life and i have no clue if all the replay on all the machines are the same. So in short this is what i can see.

starting off the line.
I'm slightly faster than vtecectetc
slight touch on left.
approaching the first half turn.
first ram on my back, countesteer and correct
at half turn a slight touch from Scetc etc (sorry i can't remember nicks ) nothing major

MASSIVE LAG from vtec that rams me lifting the car and someone else.
brake, blocked tires rammed into the wall, deadly last with over 10 seconds to recover at lap1 while starting from 2nd position T_T

I've been looking through race 2, lap 1, first corner. On my replay, it is vtec who is creating all the carnage, because of his serious amount of lag. It doesn't seem like rallymorten had anything to do with it at all.

i guess it's mostly right. Still after a bad race1 such a race 2 really lowered me underground i'm so pissed i'm shaking

at least M3 with the setup i gave him managed 2 good races. 💡

I understand your frustration being knocked out in the first corner . For an other time, if someone is lagging uncontrollable in quali, should they still be allowed to race? 💡

Race 1 if the pit entry is the first one then i'm at fault. I caught up to vtec who was lagging badly, must have lost 2 secs in half a lap. When he stayed out i seen pit entry and decided to stop. It was a spur off the moment stop as i had plenty tyre left to go for the next lap stop as was intended.


Was off track set to real it didn't look that slippy.

I think that most of it was just the fact that I was driving on and over the limit to try to control the understeer.

The setup felt fine earlier on when I was practicing but I think I'll start a fresh for Monza.

Stupidest mistake was in race 1, I badly misjudged the pit entry speed and ended up sideways.

And a few laps later, completely forgot where I was, went flat through the exit of the last turn and met the barrier. Maybe it's the heat.

Race 1 was generally poor all round, but race 2 was very mixed.

Yeah, was great fun (and addictive) .
Specifically what turn 1 incident is the frustration point? All I could see was a pile of smoke and 2 or 3 cars leaving the track..

i was rammed at the first lap of race 2 after taking the lead and braking at the perfect spot by 2 cars that rammed me in the wall and made me lose 1st position and about 15 seconds at the first turn.

i'm still smoking mate!

now 1 week of frustration and setupping form monza hoping to be competitive and not having any other surprise pile up sending me out

Joe shoots out but is blocked by Zorrin, allowing me to pass right round. Running on the inside of Julle in turn 1, down the fields Rob, Karsten and Geeky have a small cometogether which triggers the SC that is yet to make debut. Don't ask me why but it actually sounds like it could happen

Looks like I was almost right about this.. BMW had good grid positions for Race 1, Joe was shot from a cannon and Bimmers had to block him. And in race 2, just as I was on the side of Julle, AHEAD of us Karsten and Geeky I think had a cometogether.. Only Rob I was wrong about, and he took what a revenge, more info when the pics are up tomorrow

Yesterday's races were very good for me. The first one passed really fast, like one lap . I did the best I could, mainly in the second I drove quite well without mistakes and fast, but our car was at least 1s slower than the top ones, and I only could try to stop faster cars that come from behind (sorry DitQuois, I tried to recover the position but I knocked you a little), but it was imposible... 7th and 7th. I'm happy but at the same time a bit frustrated because I'd like to compete with the top.

...And I'm very sorry for my mate, he gave a very very good setup 👍 but had to many problems . Don't worry, next races you'll be luckier

BTW, I think one car did the pitstop in lap 8 in the first race... imo rules should be the same for all drivers, and mistakes should be penalized... sounds very strict but if we have rules, they must be met, it is part of the game.

Don't know if adding success ballast works that well. Think it may have been talked about in the V8's at one point but never put into practice. Don't know my race 1 lap time compared to race 2 with 30 kilos added but the car did not feel any slower. You should pm JB and ask if he remembers pro's and con's of success ballast.

Yeah, people really want it but if it doesnt make much difference then no point, the reverse grid mixes it up instead
