Geeky - I've said it before, but seeing as you've mentioned it, I'll say it again...

Keep it to 2012 cars! Focus, 330i, Civic, Vectra, Golf, A3/S3, CR-Z (maybe)

Less equalisation work and more straightforward... after all, what's the use of 20 cars when only half will get used? :)

There usaully is :)
Just tell me the car and team you will use ;)

Im assuming I can choose any car? If not which cars are available?

May I race with the 330i ?

Am i allowed all aero upgrades?

Oh yes my bad  Thats what we will do.
I dont think the championship can go through 20 cars with only 16 drivers + teams as well :sly:

Yes and yes :) All fine with me

That as well ;)

I'm much more optimistic about S2 now

Banging a few laps in on Grand Valley already

Your proberly gonna be the most experienced.

This means the car list is:

Vauxhall/Opel Vectra 3.2
Ford Focus
Alfa Romeo 147
Honda Civic
Honda CR-Z (mainly because it is more liek the 2012 civic)
BMW 330i
Seat Ibiza
VW Golf V
Audi S4 (in the online market so be quick!!!)

I like that list. Simple yet quality :D

Will we still run the (stupid :) ) HP penalty or will we just put more weight on some car types? And I can volunteer to track some success ballast if you want?

I will be testing them to find out ;)

But I think it will best with weight penalties

If everynoe else finds this please tell me as we may have to remove them :scared:

The very lazy option would be 2wd only and X kg :D but yeah, 4WD has many advantages and nearly no weaknesses. IMO it should be so heavy it's no advantage (which means 1600kg or more IIRC :scared: ) or ban it.

Surely it can't be that bad :scared: I think the best option is to put big weight penalties on the FR and 4WD cars, don't know how much though. Maybe the A3 or S3 would work better, although they're not as close to the real BTCC Audi

Car list looks good though 👍

I'll be missing tommorow's races as I've said before... hope I can just about do a full season in S2

Without intending to start another rage:

FF cars are slow at start but has greater stability.

FR cars are faster at start but drift like h*ll and make you lose time and tyres.

4WD cars has both advantages at the same time.

I can agree to run at max. 100kg more than FF cars, although if you do a flying lap many FF cars are level or faster than FR.. :)

Agreed, 4WD cars usually have the best package

I've never driven the 330i so it takes me by surprise when you come out of the pits sideways

you clearly haven't properly tested in a FF car beside the integra.

the FR problems you mention are 99% a setup problem. we are running with just 300 hps!

a faster flying lap on a FF car? LOL i keep thinking you have a setup problem... how many hours do you spend in setups per each track?

the integras are fast, but i think it's mostly due to the great setup they have reached. we volvos improved about 2 seconds on all tracks since the start of the championship and we're still way off pace...

As you said yourself, a big part of a good lap is a good setup :)
Besides, your Volvo was like a tank tbh, and I think that's the reason you're so far off.
I should definitely find one of those Volvos just for fun :)
And just to your information: I did test more than the Integra (never even got around to that  ), and note that I said they'd be level or faster, which means, they may be slower but not so much that driver abilities can't even it out. :)
