I know what you mean, would you like to have 3 races for 10 minutes, this will allow drivers to have a bit of a tire left at the end? as I aimed to make it 15 minutes like people wanted.

Thankyou all for racing though and I believe that we all enjoyed the race :)

My tyres were only really shot on the last lap, so either format works for me.

Hope it's OK to post up a few photos of the practice races...

Tried to get past Geeky several times, usually doesn't work :D

Got caught up in some carnage at the start of the second race and ended up way behind the pack, so I was on a bit of a charge...

Yeah, me and Karsten did a few Races after you left (including Nordschleife at night with heavy rain.. On slicks :D ) and Grand Valley is adding so much more than just a weekend more

And we can make races longer (and force 1 pitstop) as I'll only be racing every 2 weeks :( is simply too late for when I'm at my mom's place:tdown:

The reason why I asked if you like Enduro? Look at my signature

The only thing that hasn't been discussed is the rules - is this event obeying the GTP OLR or what? There needs to be some understanding - obviously this is Touring Cars so rubbing to be expected, but there should be some basis as to what isn't okay.

For example, dicvebombing... Is that allowed? I certainly got dive bombed and just assumed we were going by the OLR, so wasn't expecting it and didn't go defensive because the gap was large enough, with an adjusted attitude that rubbing is okay.

Just looking for clarification so that suitable drivin adjustments can be made.

Oh and etiquette for if someone gets lapped. When I came to lap chicken he fought me tooth and nail, which is not right? Even if it's more dirty than the standard OLR.

Edit: I am faster in the Honda than the BMW, I think the BMW is too penalised at 280. It won't be competitive on anything that actually has straights.

In just two laps without pushing after the second race I was already .3s faster than the fastest lap of the second race.

Maybe 285? Or probably best, 290 + weight?

if he let you back through then I'd say thats ok, but if not please tell me, although you must remember this is not the real thing yet, you dont have to take it 100% to seriously.

and 285hp + 50-100kg weight sounds ok

I admit, I might have divebombed too hard L1 R2, but I didn't only let you past, in fact I let all past :D

So BMW is 290HP and 1300KG?

Thats fine Rallymorten

I think that will be best

I did a few laps with both setups, and here is what I got:
Old: 1:26:3 in average
New: 1:26:8 in average
So it adds about half a second each lap.
I don't think it needs more penalty now, as we saw in race 2 yesterday things got really close

Great video 👍

And 7th photo down, my wipers are on

I thought the driving last night was pretty good to be fair, apart from a bit of corner cutting but maybe that was unavoidable.

there was problem with someone's driving?

i admit i scraped a little chicken when i passed him, but on race one he was crazily off- the pace... and in race 2 i slightly touched someone's back when he started braking why too early... also someone rubbed me to the wall in the first race :P

do we have "race marshalls"?

if so i'll complain about a couple of people being too fast! :D

It's not real!

Rubbing and tapping happens, it's the nature of this type of racing, and personally I never make a special effort to get out of anyone's way and take a daft line, but on the other hand no-one's been ramming anyone so everything seems fine to me.
in any case anything that isn't honda or bmw seems crazily off-pace...
The cars seemed very close in race 2 to me, I can't remember the results but I think they were pretty mixed up.

My apologies Zorrin if you were annoyed, but I was very... Off pace and needed a bit of competition to liven things up a bit. It was only a practice, and in the real deal I would let anyone pass me.

I may have nudged a few people, but not out of malice, more just trying to squeeze into gaps :)

Would like to see the video for race 2 geeky, seemed to be more action going on :)

@italianfiat
it is currently being saved, but I have seen it and... WOW!!! there was a fair share of good racing :D

and please calm down when you are being lapped ;) it was getting a bit dirty

Sorry, I missed it yesterday.
Will be there for next Friday, for sure.
Will add you (Geeky) this weekend.
When is the official season start??

I wasn't trying to complain about anyone in particular. More that there needs to be a set of rules so that we know what is and isn't okay.

That way everyone is on the same page as to what they can expect in terms of rubbing and passing moves. And if we all know what to expect its not gonna be a surprise!

Edit: Fiat, I wasn't annoyed, just surprised me that was all.

dont worry people who wasn't there, its one of those things :)

Can I ask would people like 2x20minute races with Qualifying being 20mins starting at 19:00BST/18:00GMT with 1 mandatory pitstop?

Glad you like the idea, it may be something will have to do because the tire wear was so great,
