Bugatti Veyron Successor: Chiron

This is a very good mock-up.

Looks more like a mid-life facelift than an all new car.

I would be screaming on the inside only a little bit.

One question: Why didn't the camera man rotate the camera to film the rear of both Chirons as they passed by? He could probably see all of the cars behind them. We've seen all of those cars, but the Chiron hasn't been officially unveiled, so you would expect him to try and film the whole car.

I'm not sure about the 290 thing. Didn"t the Veyron need 1200 to hit 260? Compared to 250 which was about 1,000. 1600 HP as far as I know from the rumored stats might bump them to 275/280.

It was 267.86. Quite a bit more than 260. The original Veyron reached 253.8, so the Super Sport had a 15 mph higher top speed. 290 seems achieveable with a more "slippery" design and significantly more power.

EDIT: Actually, the 267.86 record was an average of 2 runs. During the better one it achieved something like 434 kph, which translates to 269.7 mph.

You likely already have. It hasn't hit 300mph yet, but clearing 0-283mph in only a mile leaves a lot of room for assumption that it could eclipse it.

I'm more surprised Bugatti isn't going after that fabled 300mph unless it wants to save it for the SuperSport. :P

Jesus christ that's fast! And in my favorite production car, too. O_O

I wonder which game developer will be the first one to get exclusive rights to this car. I have a feeling it'll either be EA or Turn 10, but part of me wants to lean towards Polyphony Digital since Bugatti created their VGT, so they might have been talking to each other the most in the past few months.
