Bugatti Veyron Successor: Chiron

Well you americans should love that since all your motorsports are going in a straight line or an oval because your cars cant turn worth ****.
Ovals generally tend to start at the same point where they end, which unless you're ready to make a bullet straight road around the Earth itself requires turning, and even then you can't really say that the road doesn't turn at all, due to the shape of the Earth, and the laws of physics.

I wonder which game developer will be the first one to get exclusive rights to this car. I have a feeling it'll either be EA or Turn 10, but part of me wants to lean towards Polyphony Digital since Bugatti created their VGT, so they might have been talking to each other the most in the past few months.
Exclusive rights is starting to become more a thing of the past, in odern day gaming everyone wants a piece of cake.
This new model from Bugatti is being publicized very well, there's enough hype around the car and the VGT thing is only icing on this marketing cake. I mean, i want to see this new monster too, damn March...:guilty:

Are you sure?

The newest Dodge Viper ACR can lap faster in the Laguna Seca than the Porsche 918. Is that "Cant turn worth ****"?

But seriously the fact that the Viper ACR beats the high tech Porsche 918 is just really blow my mind honestly.

Now, on topic to Chiron. I believe they can reach that 290 MPH mark. They can approach 300 MPH if theyre determined enough. Or maybe just save it to the Super Sport version.

Would be nice if some lucky owner had both a Chiron and Regera and raced both .

The folks over at GTBoard will probably line one of each up and race them once they reach private owner's hands.

Is it? I thought the ACR lapped the Ring in 7:02 or something like that.

More like about 4.6s slower.
And this was done on super sticky tires that start to wear out a little after the Karussell so yeah... The 918 rides on Pirelli Sport Cup 2 tires and they work in the rain, unlike the Kumho Ecsta V720 tires on the ACR.

I'd hope Bugatti sees the benefit of never doing exclusive rights. As a purveyor of such limited production cars, it serves them better to have the car in as many games as possible (within reason).

You'll also find that, Porsche/EA and the DTM license aside, nobody else is really pursuing exclusives either. It's the top of a very slippery hill.

Or, presented another way: barely 1% slower. :)

I hate exclusivity rights, since it just hurts the people who want the car, but don't have the system or game that's only available on one system. If a car is made specifically for one game (VGT project) I can completely understand, but a company like Porsche should be available to every AAA racing game.

I think this test mule image shows of the front, but I hope it's not. I expect it to look better.

I hope what there doing is like lambo where the test mule hides the design.

Edit: Anyone know if the Chiron will have more track capabilities? The Veyron had a bad rep for not being able to corner quickly.

Anyways, back to the Chiron...

The more I see it the more I like it as it doesn't look as bloated as the Veyron.

1. American Cars "can turn properly" since 1960's. Won Le Mans even.
2. Chevrolet develops their engine for international car manufacturers including Mclaren and even Nissan in 1960's. And they damn well developing for smaller companies nowadays.
3. This isnt "American Cars" thread. This is "Fastest French car in Development called Bugatti Chiron" thread.
4. Despite the server in America, we arent all Americans. And damn well im not also.

Those are the facts. Now troll harder. We'll never miss you anyways.
Let's not provoke him any further, please.

On topic: I'm liking it much more this time, loads better than the Veyron.
