Good call. đź‘Ť
The announcement that it was out came after 1.20 was released.

Speaking of which, if you go by a rough average of 1 month being the time it's been from real world reveals to GT6, we're looking at Bugatti and Hyundai mid-October.

Last update 26th June.
That's a long time between drinks.

Assuming something happens in Sept., it's either a faster time-frame for those 2 VGT's, or maybe a sneaky surprise.

Notice how the middle section of the rear wing moves as the car accelerates and brakes throughout that video; must be the DRS system at work. Probably, it will be an automatic system which acts on its own ingame, but I could be wrong...

Judging by the DRS button on the steering wheel, that looks to be a manual functional in the same way the F1 cars do (Sans the extra arm in the fin).

Could be, I forgot about that detail. If there is a button to activate the system, then it could be mimicked by having the player press R1 during racing to turn the system on and off.

I'm betting that we will get this car next week, which would be fair because it would've been 3 months since the last VGT's were released. And PD said that they would release 1 car a month, and 3 VGT's were released 3 months ago.

No hype train yet?

Sort of. Over in the GT7 forums, the hype train has been yo-yoing between "full speed hyper power excitement" mode and "grinding to a halt with smoke pouring out" mode, as rumours are suggested and subsequently dismissed as the trailer is dissected to see what, if anything, is a GT7 hint.

I heard here that the car is said to have over 2000kg of downforce, and given by the fact that it has specialized slicks, powerful racing brakes and reduced weight as well, handling should not be a problem with this one. If you also look at its unveiling trailer (at 2:06), it's said to go as fast as 447.59KM/H, suggesting that it may use the same engine as what is believed to power the Chiron, which is an 8.0L W16 quad turbo with electric motor (possibly with KERS), with the turbochargers being electrically assisted for a total of 1480HP (1500PS), and with the DRS at work.

If you go to 2:55 in the Original video, you kind of get an idea of how the car is going to handle in low to mid-speed corners. Looks like it's gonna have a bit of oversteer.

It also only shows when I try to quote it, that picture of yours... It may have to be reuploaded to see if it can show up properly outside of quoted posts, if you can.

In the meantime, nice find, and I did giggle at the "jumping dude" which appears in the end of the gif. What, was he preparing himself for a wrestling match?

I think it's just the gif is too large of a filesize for embedding on here. Which is why it shows when you go to quote it and not in an actual post.

I am surprised that there is no date for these 2 VGTs.

PoDi wait until the course maker is ready. I see no other explanation. These are only suppositions but again, this update will probably be one of the last.

It's been almost three months we have nothing, it means they seriously begin to let go GT6. And this is normal, it was the same for GT5.

well, the main thing said Sept and we have 10 days left of this month, I predict we get news on Down time very soon as its getting very close to the end of the month
