Zombies
Treyarch has confirmed that the Zombies mode will return for Black Ops II with its own campaign. Its predecessors were Call of Duty: World at War and Call of Duty: Black Ops. This is the third time for the Zombies mode to appear in a Call of Duty game, and the first time to have its own campaign along with the main story. Treyarch has also confirmed that Zombies will implement the multiplayer engine, allowing for a deeper community experience along with new game modes. It has also been confirmed that the Zombies mode will support 8 player co-op, unlike Call of Duty: World at War and Call of Duty: Black Ops, which only supported 4 player online co-op. Treyarch announced in August 2012 that Nuketown would be remade as a zombie map for those buying Hardened or Care Package Edition of Black Ops 2. On September 26, 2012, the Zombies reveal trailer was released as well as three new game modes confirmed: Tranzit is a game mode that is a combination of multiple maps in one game and the way to travel around it is to ride on a bus, Survival is the original mode from Call of Duty: World at War and Call of Duty: Black Ops where you survive as long as possible, and finally the mode Grief which is 4 players vs 4 players vs zombies. Although a Zombies campaign is confirmed it is still unknown if Campaign is the Tranzit mode or if Campaign and Tranzit are completely different modes.
CAMAROBOY69Thanks for the info. Can anyone in here that has the game confirm if the zombie mode is 4 or 8 players? I plan to rent it over the weekend but everything I heard seems to show 4 players, even the back of the box.
DanielIf one guy's training a bunch of zombies, you could screw up the train and get him trapped. I've done it to my friends so many times accidentally in BO1, so I'm sure it won't be too hard when you're trying to do it deliberately
First day for pretty much any game is rough online. By the weekend hopefully the servers will be worked out. Happens with every new big game like BF, Halo, or COD.I'm having bad server problems now, out of 5 TDMs I've started in the past 20 minutes i've been disconnected from 3
Hopefully it's just the amount of people online on the day of release.
Also where is this Grief game mode you speak of? I can't find it.
I just had a good laugh at a lot of PC copies containing Mass Effects II on the second disc.
How can you screw up this badly?

Amazon Amazon Amazon 32 out of the current 52 reviews are 1 and 2 stars on the XBOX simply because Amazon have failed yet again to deliver the game on release date. Pretty damn poor for one of, if not the biggest online retailers. Poor form.
There's a new game mode called Grief where it's 4v4. The basis is that you cannot directly shoot the other team, but you must try to manipulate the zombies to attack them. So it's essentially last team standing. You can't revive the other team. You could use it to do an 8-player co-op, although the maps are pretty small (about the size of Verrückt).

When you go to Zombies, select Green Run. From there you have three choices: Bus Depot, Farm and Town. If you select Bus Depot, there's TranZit (the main mode) and Survival. If you pick Farm or Town, there's Grief and Survival.
Most of the reviews that I have seen actually praise the game for having a story to tell. Black Ops had one, but the Modern Warfare games treated the story as a loose framing device for the action.Story seems boring to.

I didn't get to far into it do I could be wrong but so far it's just... Bleh. And what the hell's with the very beginning? Why do they start it by showing a guy burning to death inside a vehicle? I typically don't find things like that to bad but that made me cringe...
Yeah, I saw that on YouTube. Totally unnecessary; it was violent for the sake of being violent.
DanielI know it's just a way to sneak in extra violence, but it shows early on that you can fail an objective and still carry. I've been playing on Veteran which means I have to play more cautiously and slowly than playing on Recruit. So if I were to play the campaign again on Recruit, I would have succeeded a few more times.
And also, Veteran is surprisingly easy. There are times when I've been able to survive after ramboing out into an open area where doing the same thing in Black Ops or MW3 would have gotten me killed.
