Sorry I didn't show up. I sat outside and had a cigar and then felt like giving the PS a rest for the night.

Like I said earlier, no biggie. I got caught up on Netflix and didn't feel like playing anyway. From my PSN friends, I think Cody was the only one playing.

I got on for bit after him, got this gold ACR emblem thing. Now I want the gold title to go with it, but I think you need 1,000 headshots to achieve it? I want it though. While I was going through titles & emblems, I noticed this new emblem that looked like a mushroom cloud. Is that for the nuke I got while back? For ever, my title/emblem has been the Japanese flag + tiger. It is flag + ACR cross right now, but I'm gonna start working on the 1,000 headshots.

I've not even got 1,000 headshots in total! That's with about 13,000 kills, I don't get many, mainly due to running and gunning (and Hardcore) suiting the body hits. My sniper headshot/kill ratio is about 1 for every 3 kills.

Enjoyed the killing last night with you guys, hardly ever play Softcore (which PSN chat filtered, along with classes!), but with Stopping Power Pro and a decent connection it's okay.

Disappointed that C4 was next to useless, if it's within a couple of feet of a player, it should kill them, regardless of mode, danger close, their health, etc.

Edit: Also, I have team-killed a team-mate with a toob before that was a headshot!

I got a triple kill with the M21 without releasing the scope, all one shot kills, standing in the middle of the open, two headshots. It was pretty awesome, I must say 👍.

I forgot to reply to this. I haven't noticed any friends disappearing from the stats, but I haven't really looked either. I did notice that numbers finally updated though. Sounds like it might be going through really tricky glitches.

Edit: You are right. I had about two & a half pages full of friends on the leaderboards, and it is down to just over one page. Fantastic.

I'm starting to wonder if it's just players who've played/logged-on since IW updated it that are showing up on the 'kills' screen?

My apologies to Icarus and CAM for my rant session earlier. I had three bars, and only time I was dropping targets were if I got to empty damn near the entire clip into them. Three bars!

P.S. I don't want to brag or nothing, but I had something like 34-1, last night. Next time I get on, I'm gonna see if I actually one-upped my somewhat humble 30 kill streak.

I get the suspicion that you are right. Also, it seems to be working correctly for Games won category, same as before.

That I have done. I've also gotten a headshot with the big missile from an AC130 and a bunch from the RPG and Thumper .

One of the funniest thing in the game is a headshot with an RPG. Happened more than once.

I have gotten hitmarker with Predators, but when they are on painkiller most of the time.

Before my account got hacked last year, I got 2500 kills with the RPG, thinking I'd get the silver title (I didn't, grrr ), but I got plenty of headshots and the nickname from my old running buddies: "RP-Jesus." I didn't particularly like it haha.

I wish some of you could have gotten on tonight. It was me + Icarus & L86, and I thought it was fun! We tried hardcore, but that didn't go well, due to bad luck. We got in a match with these jackasses who were using C4's to blow up teammates. I really don't see the humor in that.

We moved on to the normal matches, and it was all fine & dandy. I finished at least the "extended mag" challenge, which required 40 FMJ kills. I told Icarus that I didn't have any headshots, I got a few after that. I probably have only 490-something left.

Hardcore is very very different. You need to change your classes to suit, Stopping Power is next to pointless, use danger close or cold blooded. Explosives in general are very effective in Hardcore.

I do hate the TeamKilling aspect, especially when you get one lone ranger join you. They need to sort this out in MW3, i don't mind the whole "stray grenade/toob kills team-mate" but if someone TK's on more than three separate occasions, they get kicked.

Had a blast recently with a few friends going into S&D matches with a 50. Cal W/ Extended Mags and only being allowed to shotgun (No ADS) the opposition with them. The 50 Cal has a beautiful noise so hearing it ring off 15 times to take down 1 dude is overkill but so funny.

Killcams are hilarous whichever way they go. Either you look incredibly skilled, or a complete nutter pumping 15 rounds in and not getting a hit marker from 4 feet away lol

I found the absolute funniest camping spot today. It took the other team about a 15 killstreak from me to figure out how to kill me . I'm sure its already been found though, I just thought it was hilarious.

I think I TK'd someone, probably L86 cause I heard him say something, because I'm so used to running on the lower level of Highrise chucking grenades in the windows, and w/o the mini-map I didn't realize our spawn switched to where I was running towards. After all that I settled down and ended up with a Chopper Gunner out of it.

We needed you CAM, I think we went to Derail 2, maybe 3 times.

I've actually gotten pretty decent at Derail, IF we can hold that building in the middle. My RPD/SPAS class is pretty deadly in there, but otherwise I'm still garbage there. And its a great map to drop my Emergency Airdrop in. 👍. I still can't believe I went 12-9 with that M21/AA12 class yesterday, I laughed so hard.

I got deranked one day (my account went back to level one and all my camos and attachments were gone), and I didn't play for a few months, then one day I got on and everything was unlocked basically. I have all camos and attachments on all the guns, all of the Titles and Emblems except for a few, and all the Challenges done except for a few.

EDIT: Just went 13-6 runnin' and gunnin' with my M21 and AA12 class . I love embarrassing people 👍.

Hardcore mode is awesome on MW2. It's the only way I play. I've become pretty good at it, too. A lot of people seem to follow the same tactics when games start. I can usually get in a position where at least 2-3 idiots run in front of my sight and die, specifically on Skidrow, Favela, and Highrise.

For perks, Coldblooded Pro is an absolute must. For Perk 1, I usually go Bling Pro, though Scavenger is very useful too. With Bling Pro, I use a sight and either FMJ or HBS. HBS gives you a huge leg up over the competition because very few people use it and because so few people use Coldblooded. Perk 3 is either Ninja Pro or Commando Pro. I can understand if someone doesn't want to use Ninja Pro because it doesn't do a whole lot, while Commando Pro does a couple good things. If you have a nice sound system you can hear people headed your way with Ninja Pro. Being silent is also very beneficial for sneaking up on people.

Most use smoke grenades and the claymore. With Scavenger Pro equipped, the ability to hold an area increases with every enemy attempt because you can keep laying down claymores.

I do like hardcore, but it is very different game. I change my kill streak to include a UAV. As far as my perks, I run Scavenger/Cold Blooded/Ninja.

On the Derail thing, for me, there are two ways to play. The easiest way would be to win the middle building. You hold that, you pretty much got it. Nearly 100% of the team deathmatches has both teams fighting over that building. Another way to play, and more fun way for me is to go Marathon/Cold Blooded/Ninja(all pro, of course). Many matches, I can run around the outer edges of the map without dying. It is hilarious, because you run into so many enemy players who sees you in middle of nowhere, and they don't believe that you just showed up in front of them! You kill one, two, go run a mile again. You rarely encounter any enemy who is ready to fight you, which is an entertainment in itself.

I gotta try that. I'm watching Top Gear though. One thing that really made mad today is crate stealers. I had a Pave Low and someone took it. I changed my tube class from having a Thumper to One Man Army Pro, and got a couple of Emergency Airdrops. The unlimited grenades sure make up for the slowed reload time 👍.

I don't use One Man Army though. Danger Close class, IMO, is WEAK without the RPG. WEAK. And I find Scavenger works so well, I don't really need OMA.

I got in an immature room so I did a game on Highrise with DC before I left, that's when I got the Emergency Airdrop. Today I used my M21/AA12 class . I also made an M-L-C class with an Intervention, it was quite funny 👍.

Running around the outside on maps like Derail, Wasteland, and Afgan are where it's at. I almost never go in the middle building, or the bunker on Wasteland, or the cave on Afgan unless I spawn there. Everyone does it and it's so easy to get 2-3-4 kills or more, and if you have idiots for teammates you'll get trapped in there.

Last Stand pwnage last night. I was in that window on the digger at Quarry, some guy shot me from the red building window overlooking it. I killed him with my third shot from Last Stand (after two hits on previous) just as he got his 2nd hit on me.

I had to do a few chainsaws from groin to face with my P90 last night just to finish off some last stand-ers or final stand-ers or whatever you call it.

I followed TheCracker back into a normal TDM last night too, and got totally confused as I was getting something called a Killcam every time I died, and I had to press square.

Anyone else get that?
