I'm getting annoyed with quickscopers, messing up my testing. A6, should putting Hardline on my RPD class make it noticeably worse than with Stopping Power? I haven't gotten to try any long range kills yet.

All I can tell you is that, for me, RPD requires stopping power & grip. FMJ makes it unstoppable in certain situations, noticeably more against the noobies. RPD without stopping power sounds suicidal.

I think I'm gonna change it back, it was pretty different. But I've been playing hardcore and sniping, and I'm not doing that bad.

I did not have fun playing hardcore with you and TheCracker at all. They kept dropping me from distance, and I couldn't even see the shooter most of the time. I wished they showed themselves, but that's also how I play. It was like playing against myself! Bastards.

None of us I don't think really suffered serious lag once we were in hardcore though. That was nice considering I'm on the West Coast, I think you are East Coast, and of course, TheCracker somewhere in UK.

Yep, I'm in North Carolina. And I played Hardcore earlier tonight and I was absolute crap. Other than two high scores with Harriers, I would consistently go like 5-20.. it was just terrible.

I suck when I play the objective. I get 3-29 because I'm the only one capturing flags. I try to help on winning but people want me not to touch the flag for them to post 50+ kill games.

I have the first one. It isn't that great, definitely not worth the fifteen dollars I paid for it. Two, maybe three of the five maps are fun. I'd say two since you like to camp .

I love all the maps, but that's just me. I love the original maps, I love the new ones. Only problematic one, though I still somewhat like is Complex(I think is called). Not a small map, but big time Danger Close-fest. And "Fuel" is a different map. It is the biggest map outside Derail I've seen.

Frankly the only thing pointless are the words leaving your keyboard in this thread, if you don't like them don't waste your time posting about it in a thread where people who clearly do like them are. Said people clearly don't find these games pointless, they enjoy them (which is the point of video games no?) and if you don't like the entire genre don't even bother posting in threads for those games at all. If you had some genuine constructive criticism of this specific title compared to rivals by all means go ahead, but you don't like the entire sector so you have no business in any thread for a specific game lying in the FPS genre.

Put simply, don't be an idiot then. The last couple of posts by you here have been poorly constructed and provided nothing but a bit of trolling if anything. To summarise in a simple image:

Posting clearly controversial opinions with a lack of any supporting reasons and then wondering why someone gets defensive? Honestly what did you expect?

And you're still like an idiot who doesn't know how to have a proper conversation or debate, how do you have a debate if you don't defend an opinion? Otherwise we all have to bow down and agree with whoever says the first thing. Your opinion isn't welcome if you're not going to articulate it in a proper way with some real depth as regards the reasoning behind such opinions.

Example:
I don't like killing games, I think they're pointless because...
I think the Veyron is nooby because...

Either way, if you're saying you don't like all FPS games or similar, why are you posting it in the MW2 thread specifically? Look for a thread about the genre as a whole, or create one (perhaps with a poll) and put your reasons why you don't like the games, using that because word perhaps, then you'll get intelligent responses and you might even learn a thing or two about why others do like these games (VEXD for example gave you a good post on competition being a reason) even though it might not be something which makes you enjoy them. If you act like an idiot, you'll be treated like one.

Make a good post then, say why you think the games are pointless, respond when others give you reasons why they do and so on. It's not that I don't like the fact you don't like FPS games, it's that you can't be bothered to make an effort to give your opinion in a constructive fashion. I wouldn't call you an idiot if you gave some reasons to your distaste and I could turn around and say, that's a good point but I like FPS games because X.

Example (not saying there's any truth behind the following):
You: I think the Veyron is nooby because it's easy to drive and far superior to similar PP level cars or others in competition with it with no real disadvantage.
Me: I don't because a fast driver will still beat a slow driver in a Veyron even though the Veyron is superior, it's not necessarily an instant win.

Good games last night. I was getting consistent care packages and and predators and a couple harriers too. Too bad we got a nice group and everyone split up shortly after. I love having a good connection though. I'm house sitting for my uncle and my connection here on wireless is better than my wired connection at home.

I was getting lag like i've never experienced before when i first joined you two playing normal TDM.

Like i said before, i've been easing my way into HC TDM for the past week or so. For some reason, any lag issues i have with TDM seem to not make as much difference in HC. Probably down to the one hit, one kill you mostly get in HC. It also suits my natural playing style better too i think.

It does take a while to get used to the alternative flow of play in HC, you just don't get idiots contantly running around knifing or shotgunning and you also get much less 'tubing too. Everyone tends to play cold-blooded so kill-streak perks have less of an impact on a games outcome. Collateral damage is a bit of a pain in the ass, especially if you have idiots on your team, but thankfully they are few and far between in HC.

Not having a constant map or action replays of who shot you are tools you miss at first, but you soon learn to live without them, and i have to say i prefer it that way now.

I'm generally having games where i don't score many more than 10 kills and perhaps 6 or 7 deaths. Games where i am in the negative, it's never more than 1 or 2 extra deaths. But compared to regular TDM, i'm just not having those games where you get totally slaghtered either.
