I don't remember the final score, but during GTP NA's 50 win run, we held the other team to single digit kills in one of the matches. Not hardcore mode, but that gotta be the most lopsided game I've ever took part in.

Okay this is weird. I distinctly remember FMJ adding a noticeable amount of recoil. Now it's noticeably more stable. At least through the first burst at smg/just past smg range. Now do I want fmj + rds + bling pro, stopping power pro and steady aim pro or scavenger pro without the rds?

Granted you can't just go full auto at sniping range like you can with the acr, but, it's nice and helps.

Interesting. That;s something else I've never noticed but I've never been big on explosives other than my stingers.

thanks for the tip. 👍 that plus fmj have made it very stable and my internet doesn't usually let me live long enough for the 60 ammo count to be a problem

We had a fairly good game last night...

I think about 5 of the other team left. I had Pavelow and AC130 up at the same time, as it was nearing the end of the match, so I was trying to get the AC130 finishing move challenge, but Pavelow kept taking out targets as I was hammering down bombs!

Nope. He just saw no-one as we were killing at such a rate.

I've set my killstreaks to attempt a nuke before MW3 drops, and you guys know how bad I am with killstreaks. First game I play with the 7-11-25 setup? I go far, really far for me. My Harrier gets me to 12 (with Hardline) and my Chopper Gunner only gets like 3 kills. At that point, I was paranoid and only got to about 18. Highest I've ever gotten by far with a nuke set.

Kill streaks can cause a major mental blockage. You set them high and you put yourself in a higher pressure situation. My best ever kill streak is 27 using 3-4-7. Being paranoid only holds you back.

You'd just have to play a bunch. My first series of attempts, I had unbelievable amount of matches I choked at I think 23?

Most seems to go for CG, and in Domination. I tried Domination, but the game flow was just wrong to me? I am the worst Chopper Gunner in the game of MW2, so that was out. I liked 5-7-9, because I can kill with the Harrier & Pave Low simultaneously.

Finally, there is luck involved. You have to be on the right team, playing against the right team. And in tight games, it's not always what you do, but what the other guys do or don't do.

Edit: TA's right about holding back. You'll just run out of time, if you hold back too much. You will have to take some chances.

Oh I've had massive killstreaks. Anyone remember my 40-4 game after starting like 2-3? I just wanted to find something to do, and I also wanted to see how well I could try to develop a cautious playstyle. The one game it worked, it worked quite well. And I usually also know quite quickly if it is a killstreak type of game, judging by the amount of annoying campers and grudge hunters.

I also got to 18 in Hardcore TDM because I can use OMA and Hardline along with a silenced sniper rifle class and M16 class. It was fun running the edges and picking people off from a distance.

I couldn't figure that one out for a second. I guess I'll try that, Pave Lows have normally been very reliable for me.

I used to play MW2 a lot and in total I got 3 nukes online. I believe that setting your killstreaks to fit with the map is crucial.
