In short, holding 2MPH in both corners and 1MPH through the trioval was faster then hitting 1MPH top speed. So as you can see having a high top speed is worthless if you cant make up the difference in corners. Thats why it'd would have been nice to see lap times per camber. Sorry for blabbing. Cheers
Yeah, cornering speed is where it's at! No worries about the "blabbing" it was really interesting.

I have the same observation. On some MR cars high rear camber makes them faster around corners! I set it up usually somewhere between 2.2 - 3.0 for MR cars.
It works for RR cars too...and IIRC real-world Porsche racers will use more rear camber than front.
Yeah, IIRC the GT5 manual says something about more weight = more camber. So MR and RR would require more rear camber than other layouts.

I've been using a Lotus Evora @505pp for quite some time now, on the Nordschleife, and the front works best with 0.00 camber. Rear likes 1.8, havent tried higher. but as soon as I add even .01 front, it steers and slides worse. Same with Nissan Z33 ST version, car performs magically well with no cambers at all. I wonder if the last patch caused camber to work opposite than it should. Anyways, this coming Wed. is a new GT game, every patch makes this game different than before.
