Reports #4 & #5 have been updated with next weeks tracks, time, date, weather, and fuel.

Also......if everyone could please send me a message or post here whether or not you want track limits on or off for the Long Beach race. It's a tight track with multiple places to pick up a penalty....I just want the league as a whole to have the option on that track

Playstation just released a new controller color.....Metallic Copper. Just like we did with the Crystal controller when it dropped......I will be giving away a brand new Metallic Copper controller to one of the top 7 finishers at the season finale Fuji race. I will place all the names of the top 7 finishers in a hat and I will draw one name out to be the winner. Instead of giving it to the winner (or 2nd place finisher if I were to win) like I did last time I want to be able to give a few more people the option of winning a new controller.

I would personally like to withdraw my name (if I were to finish in the top 7) since I won the last controller. It's a super cool deal that you're doing Camel but I would also like to give someone else to have a better chance of winning a controller.

I know you mentioned a Silver one Camel but, Walmart is selling the black ones for really cheap if you wanted to save a few bucks.

I'm sure the guys appreciate all that you do for us and I'm sure we'd be content with the black one if we can save you a few bucks in return :).

I just bought one a few days ago as I needed to have one of them on on my Drive Hub when playing WRC 7.

Good stuff last night. Hey,i just wanted to mention to those that were there and listen. I figured out the FOV issue I was having after trying (improve) to change it. I was using the 'speed sensitivity' feature all this time, but did not realize how it messed up my camera FOV setting. Once I turned speed sensitivity OFF, I was able to get a better view out the front window. And boy howdy, did it ever make a difference. Best lap times for me ever. And way more actuate for hitting my marks on the track.

yeah i need to figure out my fov also its like its different everytime i get in the car especially when i change from cockpit to helmet view the bugs in this game are starting to agrivate me pretty bad

I dont think the FOV thing is a bug. Just a matter of setting it right in each car from what I understand

What I found out is that I get some ridiculously low FOV number on every web sight for calculating FOV. So if the game default is not what you like, try getting in a car and be in the cockpit view so you are looking out the window at the dash and the window frame (A pillar off to the side). Now select options and then cameras to get to the FOV settings. By default I think they are all at 70. You should still be able to see your car as you make adjustments. Leave the FOV Speed Sensitivity OFF for now. Use it later once to like the FOV. Start moving in to a point that puts you closer to the dash and puts the A pillar of the TV screen more. I figure if the seat and steering wheel looks like it WOULD if in the car for real, than that is a good place to start. Reality was my goal. Better FOV will really help you sense the position the car is placed on the track and feel like your a real driver, not a spectator. I did this last night an got better times. But mostly better feel for what to car was doing and where I needed to be for the apex.

What do leagues do to combat poor driving (probation)? I wonder how we compare to open lobbies. LOL

I cant answer that.......what I can say is we have some tough conditions. We aren't driving in the middle of summer in the middle of the day all the time. How many people do you think would stick around in the conditions we have most times? We have people here that complain about the rain......could you imagine the typical online public rooms in night time conditions in the first of March? I think some of these guys deserve some credit for the work and time they put in. All that being said...we will be having Stewards for Season #10

Also....I know @OpenRoad_17 has been putting some work in lately to try and get more competitive. I wanna give him a shout out for his efforts last night. He won Group B in both races and had he been able to keep that car under him in the first race around turn 8 I do believe he could have had his first podium. Great Job last night Roadking17.

Thanks Camel, I appreciated the coaching tips and suggestions.

Happy Birthday Camel

Yeah I've been trying to explain this to everyone when we're online.

You can actually try and get the view to look right over time with the Field of View Speed Sensitivity on bud. However, in order to get it right you're also going to need to input settings for the Movement tab settings as well as the settings underneath Field of View Speed Sensitivity.

I'm happy to know that you found this issue but, I would'nt completely give up on that setting until you are able to see it's full capabilities.

The settings which are just below the FOV Speed Sensitivity On/Off - all correspond to that one FOV Speed Sensitivity option.. Meaning, if FOV Speed Sensitivity is set to Off then then the underlying options beneath it are automatically greyed out.

When you have time, experiment with those underlying options -

Minimum Speed Sensitivity
Maximum Speed Sensitivity
Minimum Speed Sensitive Speed
Maximum Speed Sensitive Speed

You're also going to need to adjust a few settings in the Movement tab, especially G-Force effect.

Using these other settings in conjunction with Field of View Speed Sensitivity on, is the only way to get it to work properly.. Come to think of it, big kudos to you as I can't believe you were driving like this the whole time :).

I can get into more detail on the variables but it's far easier to talk about it when we're on buddy.

Like Camel said, I don't think it's a glitch thing.. Guess, you were'nt crazy about the settings I gave you ?

Also, I just wanted to say that I don't always use Field of View Speed Sensitivity on much myself, even if I feel like the settings are properly set.

I feel like it hogs up the system more, especially when we have alot in the room. I could be wrong about this but it does make sense as you gotta think all that extra motion - visual stuff is going to strain the video card/memory etc.

Have had time to use FOV SS. No more. I, that is Me, and Myself, don't need it. It added nothing to my performance or experience when in side the car.

It's a points race this week for some of the teams. Lots of reasons to be as ready as possible this week. Reach out to your mates and figure out a strategy that works together. Look out for the slow teammate to become the widest cars on the track. LOL. Jk. No wait.......seriously!

Report #3 has been updated with the final standings and prize winners from Season #9.

Also....Willphazier was the lucky winner of a brand new Metallic Copper PS4 controller tonight. Congrats Will.

I will get the voting up for the car class of Season #10 as soon as I can.
